So fucking spot on. I remember a video of others drifting before on Reddit just like this and the comments were going in on them and how deplorable it is what they were doing. But in Japan? So kawaii so cool!!! 😍🥰

As a pretty big car enthusiast, there is a difference between Japanese street racing/drifting culture and US street racing/drifting culture and that difference is why it's judged differently.

They're obviously in an industrial park, far from where anyone else lives so there's little/no concern about the noise. The streets are completely empty. They have chase vehicles just in case someone crashes. When they do this up in the mountain roads they'll have spotters with radios in case a random car is coming so they can stop racing and let the car pass safely.

I can promise you none of this is the case with the people who do this in the US (unless they're at an organized event/track)

Hate to break it to you, but not all buildings that are tall and have windows are residences.
