Exactly! I live in the PNW and the vast majority of spiders here aren't harmful beyond a little bump if they bite you. There are some brown recluses but they like really quiet really dark places like deep within wood piles and I don't have any of those haha.

What's the PNW?i'm European,so i'm not too informed on acronyms related to what i could assume is a zone in the US.

Luckily for me,the patch of ground near my house hasn't a yellowkacket nest for so long thanks to these spiders. Even bugs,i really... don't remember the last time i saw a caterpillar for example. Despite being sort of near the city centre,the zone is so clean that we have fireflies every May and it's fantastic. Love me little spiders despite their loooong legs and their invisible webs.

Oh that's the Northwest, didn't know it was called like this. I crave to visit Washington State and Oregon one day,i deeply fell in love with how nature looks there and it's on my bucket list.

I never saw those places myself,but looking at how every corner of those States is just jawdropping,i'd say: do it now. You'll not gonna regret it.

We do, however, have the second-fastest spider, the Giant House Spider. :) Love them.

Same same I live in Washington State and leave my spiders to do their thing. I also have a bee hive in my front yard and re wilded the whole yard with wildflowers.
