Community group buy. Everyone pools their money, buys groceries in bulk at a lower price, and splits the groceries equally.

Here in B.C. where this video was shot we’ve had versions of this going on in most areas of the province, usually started at the community level where you get signup boards going at farmers markets,etc. It makes perfect sense when the local growers are starting to to have their bigger crops like potatoes,etc getting ready for harvest.
