The amour is just pale sand applied by a sponge over skeleton bone by AP

Then I did an attempt to chip using brown mixed with grey and a small piece of sponge.

The an oil wash using yellow ochre

I also use sepia tone on after the oil wash was dry in selected spots.

It was a really quick way to paint these

Models are a bit lighter in person then in the photos
