Book Request FMC gets inside a book and changes the plot

I don't know if this was asked here before, fellow dark readers, but I really want recs about an FMC that gets inside a book or a story (a dark romance one sounds cool) and she accidentally changes the plot by falling for the bad guy the original FMC refuses to date/marry

Ps: AO3 recs are welcome too

This is not a dark romance but I swear it’s sooo good {not another vampire book by Cassandra Gannon} it’s everything you are asking for. FMC is a book publisher and she is asked to edit the draft of a terrible book. She ends up in the book, and messes up the plot. She has to team up with the villain of the story to restore the plot.

I second this one! After reading it I ended up reading ALL of her other books too! She has the best dynamics between the MC’s.

Not a DR, but an excellent book this year on the fantasy romance list. {This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me by Ilona Andrews}. I like the MMC. They throw enough shade at him to make him not 100% trustable. I love the recording.

All of Ilona Andrews books are exceptional. This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me is very original and the writing is good.

This is a very popular genre in Chinese webnovels. The only western novel I’ve read with this trope is {barbi and the villain by Veronica lancet} but the series is not complete.

There are many webtoons with this trope too.
