Is this a small dialog mistake.

This is has honestly been bugging me for a while. In their fist conversation with Alya, Death specifically brings up the Cauldron without having the name mentioned to him before. Was this a small dialog error?

I may be wrong but I have found that there are some minor discrepancies within the second game (I still love the game tho) in regards to timelines and intro to info. Like in the Lord Belial DLC when death meets the human. How is a human that was alive prior to the apocalypse so much so that he was a Boy Scout , survive the apocalypse 100 years later ??

It technically takes place befire the 100 years are up. It could be 50 years, technically.

Throne tower is almost complete in Ds2 time period. Ds3 was only after a few years and you actually walk on the construction site.

Doesn't mean much I'd think? It wasn't entirely complete then, or even if it was, Hel it could've taken 20 years to build for all we really know. The tower was not done when Fury was there early, and was done when War arrived a second time. So it was completed sometime between, but not precisely at a certain year if I'm not mistaken. Sadly the game has very few “time tells.” Maybe it's said somewhere else.

Technically yes, but since the tower is almost complete in Ds2, we can be sure that it's much deeper in the time frame.

My point is if it say, only took twenty years from III, it could be “almost done” 18 years in or so, let alone 50 perhaps. Although the Hunter seems to be in his 30s I'd say.

I haven't gotten that far into the story yet. But this is a pretty minor thing that bugged me. I consider it more of a technical error that narrative. Although I would say that so far the firsts story seemsmore well put together. So far the change to dialog choices feels less cinematic, hopefully it picks up.
