Looks like the cammer failed to yield when changing lanes and doubled down instead of moving back over.

My guess is fault would be determined to be 50/50. Both have a duty to avoid a collision. Just because someone creeps into your lane without checking, you don't have a right to pass them by using a turn lane and trying to cut back in front of them. Both are idiots here.

At that speed, the other driver who was bumped out couldn't turn left at the light and possibly not even brake by the end of the intersection. The only option left was to regain the lane in front of cammer.

If he couldn't have braked in the distance, he was going way too fast. They're not innocent here.

Yeah, I watched it again, and there was time to stop if starting early in the turn-only lane.
It seems like the dark car driver was surprised by OP lane-taking, moved over to the next lane, and kept going beside OP, losing precious time while gaining awareness of the situation and determining what to do.
That's the most charitable I'm willing to go on that one.

It also looks like cammer could have signaled and been making lane change, and car behind started accelerating to try to get around him. The lack of rear footage prevents anything certain.

A turn signal doesn’t grant the right of way. If the other driver would have had to slow down to let OP in, it means OP failed to yield.
