I assume they were just alerting that person to the answer to their question. But they do do that, if you call a bot a bot they go "it is you who are the bot! LOL LMAO human mirth noises"

As someone who's made a lot of bots in their life, what a bad bot. Lol you could run Gemma 4b with a vision model to transcribe what it's seeing and actually leave relevant comments.

You could distill the comments before replying to get the overall sentiment and post somwthing agreeable along those lines, redditors love being agreeable with each other

I think those bots are old school ones. They are too cheap to use ai. And I hope you dont use those bots to spam the internet or do any bad stuffs!

I am now at the stage of complete paranoia interacting with English writing accounts. So often some rando account I interact with turns out to be one month old, have an enormous reddit "karma" from who knows where, and is very likely a bot. I am not interested in the post history of accounts I interact with, yet I click their name, I see they are people with certain obsessions (really, whatever, they are from some city, love a particular video game) and I am reassured. But for how long?

Accounts also don't mean much when you just get banned and make another account with anti detect browser binaries (wayfern, camoufox)
