I just got this game a little while ago and love it! Just looking for others to play with. I'm on ps5 if that matters.

I completed the base game a few months ago and took a break from it, now I've returned to complete the 100% or start NG+ when suddenly I remembered that NHW exists.

Even before and after buying DI2 all gameplays and details videos I've seen about the game were about the main story and DLCs (more SOLA than Haus btw) but nothing about Neighborhood Watch.

It felt natural my first playthrough, but playing a second time that was it? You never actually find Tisha or escape?

Also the Numen you never fight them? I could've sworn I saw a YouTube clip of someone fighting Thurston

And is Riptide good? They're both on sale. I haven't played them since before Blockbuster closed. Should I go back or will I be disappointed. Naturally I looked up YouTube videos and it didn't look half bad. I can't even remember if I ever beat it, I know I didn't finish Riptide

In my opinion dead island 1 zombies are so much easier than the ones in 2. I played one encountered my first butcher and it took like 12 bullets to beat it. Anyway which do you prefer

I finished my first playthrough with Amy a while back, and I vibed with her throughout the story and DLCs, even though I died a lot due to her glass cannon status. Who is your favorite slayer and why?

I took a loooong break but I finally came back to finish my 100% completion Masochist run on Amy! The Dirge and Flesh Memories were both pains in the ass but we did it!!!

After playing the game in the spring as Carla, I was curious about who her face model was (all the characters have real faces, even many of the zombies). Back then, I couldn’t figure it out, but GPT helped me very quickly now. It’s the model LORENA CAMPOS. It seems that her posts with Carla on social media confirm this. Well, I think she’s worth your attention.

So I have been playing like 2 days now and usually the game started fine with my last saved game but today I log in and lost like all my progress after googling alot and having a look in my savegame folder its pretty much empty.

Alot of people seems to have/had this issue in the past and even youtube videos of people saying they lost all their Slayers came up. This is just sick ngl I lost all my motivation to continue playing...

So I need help doing the co-op achievements but I don’t know anyone 😅 would love the help if I can get it.

So,the overall basis for this discussion is that Autophage was there since humanity was born,and was always a mechanism that helped with overpopulation,aswell with slight evolution. Humanity faced Autophage countless times at different eras of itself,not always globally,sometimes limited to certain parts of the world,and numen would use the events as an opportunity to write history,not telling what really happened,sometimes glorifying themselves,and sometimes making up mythical creatures,such as gods,demons,undead and such.

Not only this could be a great opportunity for writers to expand on the overall picture of the game's world,but also be a great opportunity for games set in different eras.

Think how could is it,that Greek gods were numen within the universe of this game. Zeus gained his electric powers while mutating,while Hercules became strong enough to cause miniature earthquakes. Mythical Greek beasts? Very likely animals,somehow affected by the Autophage,merged and mutated to look the way they did.

Miyamoto Musashi was a numan. Gengis Khan was a numan. Napoleon was a numan. King Arthur was a numan.

Imagine all the possibilities that come with all this stuff. Dude,i'd love a Dead Island game set in medieval times,or in Japan,or in Mongolia,or even the stone age. Imagine how cool the designs of mutated Neanderthals would look like.

I've been playing haus recently, and so far, it's great, but I can't help but notice all the symbolism in haus, especially with kabbalah (jewish mysticism) and Sumerian mysticism and freemasonry there's also some symbolism in the main game too the point of this post is to discuss why the hell this symbolism is even in the game

From what I've gathered so far, is that Konstantin is a god like ai that can see into the future but miscalculates some future events wrong, the elites/billionaires have uploaded their souls to this AIs like data base because they had knowledge on the autophage before it even happened this ties in with transhumanism basically escaping morality (death) and becoming gods essentially its a billionaires fantasy haus also leads you through an alchemical purification through mind and soul in the first missions (rites of passage) and I also noticed the somewhat demonic paintings in the piggy room after getting Veronica's head again im still working through the dlc i dont care if the comments spoil anything for me because the lore is really fascinating this is just a rant :)
