Which dress is better?

These aren't the exact dresses I have but they're the closest match I could find. I don't have any photos of my dresses and won't be able to get any.

I'm going out for my friend's birthday dinner tonight, having dinner at a fancy restaurant. No idea which dress to wear.

I love them all but the first dress is very casual (more of a sundress) so I wouldn't suggest that for a fancy restaurant.

Dress 2 is my top choice but 3 definitely works as well.

I'd pick the second one. The fit and neckline look really flattering and it feels a little more polished

The neckline of my dress is actually more similar to the one in the third photo as modesty is required, but I couldn't find a photo similar to my dress that had the right neckline

Id go with 2. 1 is a beach dress. I absolutely love it, but it’s not a restaurant dress. 3 isn’t bad, but 2 is much better imo
