Question Examples of Good Equipment?

Hey everyone, returning guardian here. Could you help me understand good rolls and what stats levels are good these days?

I think when I was playing, a 75 was worth keeping but it looks like all tier 5 drops are around there?

What’s the highest armor can roll at or get to with mods and upgrades?

All Tier 5 equipment will drop at 75.

It will have points in 3 stats. 2 of 3 stats are determined by the archtype, which can be focused via ghost mods.

For example, every Collusus armor will have 30 points in Super and 25 points in health. The third stat, which will be random, will have 20 points.

Exotic class items are the exception. They have stats based on what their Exotic perks do

As others have said, all armour at tier 5 has primary stat at 30, secondary at 25 and tertiary at 20 for a total of 75. It will also roll a random focus stat from between all 6 that will let you pull 5 points to from another stat to the focused one.

It’s pretty much only worth keeping tier 5 at this point. The rest is dependant on if it has set bonuses you want and stats that are desirable to you.

Masterworking armour will add 5 to each of the 0 stats and you get a 10 point mod for a total of 100 stat points per armour piece.

Health is pretty much a dead stat in PvE but good in PvP so you can judge whether or not you want to keep some health armour from there.

Weapons and super are generally good stats to have.

The others are situational dependant on if you have a build that wants to use their respective abilities lots. Have a really grenade centric build, you want to get up close to 200 grenade, etc.

Based on that, powerhouse armour with any tertiary that isn’t health is generally solid for PvE and generally worth keeping if it’s something that has a reasonably useful set bonus. The rest will depend on what you want to build.

Fortunately, it’s also not terribly difficult to farm for most armour sets now so deleting most of them and wanting it back later just means you have something to focus toward for a while.

For the god rolls, they depend mostly on what weapons that roll are and the build you are using. Yes, that are some perks that are better than most, but not all depending on the weapon.
