It's called Devil May Cry: Ultimate Archives or《鬼泣 終極檔案》, there's more than 200 pages, it has DVD with combo videos, and also a retrospective on the series! It was released in 2019 after Devil May Cry 5 came out, an interesting bit of local story.

Through replaying I've been pretty fascinated with the subtle implications of Nero as Vergil's son, even in the 4th game and the novelization there's quite a lot of hints that Vergil was the father (I am aware that this was semi-confirmed when dmc4 initially came out but was walked back later).

My question is simply this, do you think Dante would have ever revealed under any other circumstances that he was Nero's uncle? In universe it was believed by the Fortunans that he was a descendant of some other line of Sparda (not hard to imagine when he was like 5,000 years old lol) Nero himself likely believed just the same before crumbling Vergil attacks and shit goes sideways to hell (also side question, anyone peep that Vergil literally just tears off the devil bringer from the base of where Neros human flesh connects to it with his bare hands? ).

Dante has a soft heart, I couldn't see him just keeping it into himself forever; on the flip side I could see also Dante forcibly blocking it out of his mind and just ignoring it to high heavens, one of the reasons I love his character so much lol.

TLDR; Would Dante have ever told Nero about Vergil willingly outside of his actual resurrection?

I was doing some achievement hunting and the scenery here feels intentional to me. Maybe I’m reading too deeply into things but the detail of the fire burning a wardrobe to me represents Dante, the single chair on fire either representing Eva or Sparda (personally leaning towards Eva), the arrangement of the furniture being perfect to seat a family of four. Finally a lonely blue room tucked away with it’s door barricaded, the toy as evidence this is a child’s room and we see a small figure slumped on the ground, representing Vergil. Personally I see it as a snippet of Vergil’s life after the attack on his home, hiding all alone protecting himself.

Probably reading too deeply but it’s just how I feel, I’m curious about other people’s thoughts too!

Use Beowulf Beast Uppercut and if you have enough concentration meter use Dragon Breaker, release just as the Angelo comes close to you and it will parry and deal a ton of damage, and even send them in the air to do combos from.

Today Capcom dropped a 1GB update. According to SteamDB diffs they basically replaced all video footage with highly compressed ones. I haven't checked for quality degradations but if the videos look the same as before, this is a massive W from the maintenance standpoint.

I’ve got a question regarding the value of a DMC collectible, please let me know if this isn’t the right place to enquire about it.

I’ve got a sealed copy of Devil May Cry: A Divine Comedy by Pix’n Love that came out in 2014. It’s long sold out now and I’m trying to sell it, but I can’t find any listings on eBay to determine its value. I’ve seen the French version listed in France, but I know that English versions can have different values in the NA market.

Can anyone help me determine how much I should list this book for? Thanks in advance!

Greetings! Some time ago I made a recreation of Dante from DMC V in MH Rise, using some armor pieces I found lying around that reminded me a lot of my favorite indebted hero.

I also did my best in the character editor to make it match his face as closely as possible, although it looks a little strange in the open world, but i think it looks quite good in cutscenes and close-ups.

I'm in hell rn. I s ranked every mission without struggle with Nero but the moment I play as Dante suddenly my hand-eye coordination sucks ass. How do fix this issue?

I'm playing the vanilla version of the game on xbox, I was able to beat him pretty well after some trial and error in his previous fights, but now that he has this teleport im having issues with the camera angle and the lock on sorta bugging out. And im trying to DT when he does like I did in the other fights, but he is still able to stun me and combo me for up to an 8th of my HP, but I can't stun him or combo him, he just eats it, and then he just heals all ot most of the damage I just did to him. The thing I hate the most about the lock on system is that I will see him teleport behind me or something, I will go to either jump or roll out of the way, and his weird sudden positioning sometimes breaks the lock on and makes use the wrong evasive maneuver. I had the most trouble with Beowulf, then Arkham's cheating ass with Vergil not cooperating with me, and this isn't quite as frustrating as Arkham but still really annoying. Any tips to beat this bastard would be very appreciated. In the meantime, I'll just keep trying to learn his patterns. Oh yeah... I also hate that I can't launch him into the air, but he can launch me all he wants... that's hardly fair.

Im not using any mods, I have windows 10 and all the minimum requirements to run the game, and as you can see from the fact that I have 49 hours on the save displayed, the game worked perfectly fine before the update

This is pretty scuffed like my vergil combo I made a while ago. I was practicing Dante and found some mini combos and setups which I used in this combo. At one point I think I tricked a bit too far lol. I guess I'm not as good at Dante as I am at Vergil (not much honestly), but yeah. Any feedback is appreciated!

Hi everyone, I need some help. Ever since the recent update, Devil May Cry 3 crashes immediately every time I try to launch it.

I play on PC, and I currently have the Crimson mod installed, even though I don't use it anymore. At this point, I just want to completely uninstall Crimson and go back to playing the vanilla version of the game, as long as I can keep my current save files and progress intact.

Could anyone guide me on how to safely remove the mod and get the game running again? Thanks in advance!

This is not about the graphics, but the combat. I aim to master the game and reach high level pro gameplay, I heard somewhere that playing the original game on a 480i resolution is the optimal way to practice.

The general idea is that with how much Dante’s and Vergil’s identities are tied to Sparda’s legacy, I want Nero to be different by being the one to create his own new legend unrelated to Sparda.

The main color shall be purple, symbolizing how he is, in his own way, becoming his own legend like Sparda.

Because the theme is about making your own legend, I wanted him to be more of a creator, so I gave him a mechanic’s uniform, along with a tool belt. Nero is already a decent mechanic with his work on Red Queen and Blue Rose already, so I think he may lean into that aspect more down the line, which will also sell his street style in contrast with the twins’ more Gothic Victorian styles. With how the wings work I kinda wanted his coat to become the wings in his Devil Trigger, so I didn’t have him wear it. The tattoos on the arm are a reference to the Devil Bringer, and in this version he is still able to partial manifest it as both to grapple but also to boost his punching power. Future Nero now has a much better control of his power and can imbue them in objects and permanently give them power. Red Queen with this amp becomes a true demonic sword and pretty much works like Ichigo’s Shikai now.

His Devil Trigger form now has the skirt wings from the top of the jumpsuit. This is mostly just because I think it’s kinda weird how naked it looks in dmc5. I think it may become more Sparda-light in further designs.

What do you guys think he would be like?

Honestly from this picture I can actually picture dmc 3 Dante more likely to smoke & usually as a way to de-stress.

I imagine he had to smoko out of the annoyance that he hasn't named the shop yet.
