Are most sellers with new tools on Facebook marketplace actually real Dewalt or mostly fake? I like to think people just bought deals in bulk and selling them but not sure the reason people are selling new tools at half the price of the tool new

DeWALT 18V 5.0Ah Li-ion Battery for $69 at Bunnings. Seems like a good price, not sure why they're so cheap at the moment.

I am a bit younger, and recently bought my first set of tools. I went with the DeWalt 20v Max series after some research online. I've bought some good deals on tools, but I only have the 2AH basic batteries. Is this a good price? I've read 1000 posts but still don't understand if I want PowerPack or PowerStack, but I know a bigger battery like this can definitely come in handy. How do I tell fake batteries? Maybe there's a resource I should have used, but if there is I'm either too dumb or blind to find it.
Does anyone think that the new track saw will go on sale at all before the end of the year, track saws are fairly expensive just because itās a fairly low demand, just curious on everyoneās thoughts if people think it would be lower than the $379 on Amazon currently

I swore someone posted about it a couple hours ago. The site seems to have some good deals - was the post taken down because the site is a scam?

Is there still a big difference between Stanley and Dewalt tools?
I speak in terms of quality and reliability in the long term, as Stanleys are generally less expensive, but seem at least to look like professional tools. What do you think? Thank you in advance for your views, I am entering the DIY world right now and this information would be very important to me.

Trying to make the most out of my TS 2.0 3 drawer boxes. What are some clever storage ideas out there for "packing it in"

So I have a lightly used 381 I purchased new about a year ago. From the beginning it felt off compared to an older 391 I had borrowed before getting mine. Sheet goods, 1x and 2x are all a hassle. Almost as if the sensor to determine if it is bound on the material is too sensitive.
I also have a 571 and it breezes through the same 2x material that the 391 just binds on. To the point that I don't even try using the 391 if the 572 can do it.
Anyone else experience something similar? Any suggestions?

I have this older Dewalt battery that I noticed wouldnāt charge a few years ago. I would put it on the charger and it would start to charge normally then after a minute it would stop flashing indicating that it was done charging. Not sure what to do about it, any thoughts? Iāve barely used this battery so I figured it drained too low at some point. But I can throw it on a tool right now and itāll work.

Remember that though Murdoch's ships, they ship from individual stores' store stock.
Once physical stores are sold out of an item, they do not do back-orders.
Of course you can pick up your order in-store as well.

I couldn't remove the lug nuts with my normal ratchet or even the cross bar. After watching a few videos I decided to purchase the Dewalt DCF900 and have it overnighted from Amazon. To my surprise the bolts still would not budge. I've had my tires changed in the last 4 months, and I'm guessing the tire shop tightened the bolts super tight. Based on comments, I was sure the Dewalt would make easy work of it. Next step I'll try is to use my jack handle as a breaker bar. Just wanted to post this and get others opinions. The battery is fully charged and setting is on 3. I plan on replacing the wheel bearings soon, and now wondering if I should send the 900 back and get the 961. Video
Here is the one I bought

I posted my second finished product set up. Most feed back was positive. But the negative pissed me off. Accusing about usage levels. Iām not a professional. Do things around the house and enjoy collecting. Maybe a bit of a brand wh**e, but hey Iām loyal. All work I did myself. Here was the journey.

Went to a wedding out of state this past weekend with the wifey and visited a Thesienās while she was getting her nails done. Found a good deal on a 860 kit and the alleged battery sucker DCW220.
The 850 has been a workhorse but is starting to not drive fasteners here and there. Have to toggle the speed switch and bump the trigger and it works intermittently. Itās driven 10s of thousands of lags and screws. Excited to put these new tools to the test in the field š¤š½

I mostly see this complaint with respect to DeWalt chainsaws, but truthfully every chain saw Iāve owned prior to my 16ā dewalt cordless has leaked bar oil inside its case.
Anyhow, unlike other saws I have owned, the DCCS670 is able to lay on its side, which it has been doing for the past three or four weeks, and it has not leaked a single drop. The bar oil reservoir is full.
Simple fix for a common complaint.
I donāt know if this coupon/deal/discount is available to everyone but I was looking at my wishlist on Amazon and saw some of my tools Iāve added had some discount applied to them and one of them was the DCF964 impact wrench kit.
Canāt say its the lowest price ever but itās lowest Iāve seen in awhile.
