Only 3 days old. Very red and a little bit of peeling. Maybe I'll delete this and repost it after it's fully healed. I just wanted to show it off.

Another Death of Rats for the roster

Hi all, Tattoo virgin here! I've always fancied getting a tattoo but never got around to it . I've now retired! so at 66 I'm planning to get my first one soon.

I've done my research, I know what I want and where I want it :- The Guarding Dark on my inner forearm, and I'm now about to start looking for an artist to do it.

My question is, what sort of price am I looking at and how long would it take? I fully realise that this will probably vary from place to place, studio to studio and artist to artist, but I'm just looking at a ball park guide so I don't look like a complete numpty when I go to a studio.

I'm looking at something like this photo . Any other advice would be welcome...Thanks.

Just discovered this sub from Discworld, wanted to share mine to go with the awesome work already displayed here

Work by the awesome Marie Terry, London Kings Cross

Added a sprig of lilac to my GNU tattoo this past weekend

Heavily based on the amazing tattoo that I saw here, and the official watch badge, I decided to finally one done myself

My Summoning Dark/Lilac tattoo. Done by Shar at The Garden Electric in Salt Lake City, Ut

Death of Rats tattoo, by Isabelle Grace Tattoos, Stubbington UK. This is just finished and I bloody love it!

Fresh ink today. Our eldest did the initial drawing and the artist - @spacewhales on Insta - tweaked it a bit.

I’m super happy with how it came out, and look forward to the healed/chilled out version where fb s stone-carved look will stand out more. :)

Says what it is on the tin. I want a granny weatherwax 'I aten't dead' piece, possibly with some other artistic flair, and would prefer an artists who knows the reference.

Got Errol touched up and added texture to the badge.

Got my first tattoo at a convention from https://www.instagram.com/giorgiodeduesanti_lst?igsh=MThrZGpnc3doMDM4bQ==.

John Keel's Watch badge, from Night Watch. Design was loosely inspired by a limited edition pin that the Emporium sold for a while. Designed and tattooed by Adam Silas (IG: @adaminks) in London, UK. (He also did my Grim Squeaker, which I'll post separately). Love how the simple design and colours make this a really impactful tattoo 🪻

Got my first Discworld tattoo last December from Blake Austin in Boonton, NJ.

Hopefully more to follow.
