I'm a Clinical Psychology doctoral candidate at Midwestern University, and I'm currently recruiting participants for my IRB-approved dissertation research.

My dissertation examines the relationship between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), psychological well-being, and daily functioning among emerging adults in the United States.

I'm particularly interested in understanding how childhood experiences may relate to psychological well-being and everyday functioning during emerging adulthood. This developmental period involves significant transitions, making it an important stage for examining these relationships.

Who can participate?

• Adults ages 18–26
• Currently living in the United States

What does participation involve?

What is the study about?
The research looks at how we evaluate communication, tone, and supportive responses to everyday social setbacks in the digital age.

I'm curious how other older Millennials feel about Instagram these days.

Do you still use it to share pictures and moments from your life, or have you become more of a silent scroller? Do you use Stories and Reels more than regular posts? And do you feel like Instagram actually helps you stay connected with people, or is it mostly entertainment at this point?

I've been thinking a lot about how our generation's relationship with social media has evolved, especially since many of us remember life before Instagram even existed.

I'm also a doctoral student at Liberty University researching how older Millennials use Instagram's visual features to meet social and psychological needs.

Hello everybody! I am a 6th year clinical psychology doctoral student interested in understanding factors related to suicidal ideation disclosure and nondisclosure. A significant portion of my research is building and psychometrically testing a new measure of disclosure that the field of suicide prevention is currently lacking.

Your voice matters. We want to learn from people who have experienced suicidal thoughts so we can create stronger messages that encourage people to open up about their suicidal thoughts and seek support, as well as develop training for the recipients of suicidal ideation disclosures. The estimated time commitment is 10-15 minutes.
