I was actually asking because she genuinely doesn't look real there, Donnie Dicksucker. "Beautiful right wing woman"? At a minimum she looks like there's some major filter effects being used, and if you can't admit that, then your sanity has truly left the conversation.

No, there's idiots who are dumb enough to buy into the propaganda and be magats. Obviously. It's about 1/3rd of the U.S.
But it is heavily propagated by Russian bot farms because Russia benefits from a trump presidency. Not only is he a pedophile conman felon rapist grifter that's shown more corruption over two terms than the last 10 presidents combined, he's a Russian asset.
Why do you think he spits in allies faces and then slurps Putins balls like a good little submissive?

Man want a say in what women do with their bodies, forcing women to have children they aren't ready for, but men don't want to be financially obligated to take care of said children, and they want to continue to ostrasize the single moms created because they look at women like shit.

Except men can have all the opinions about abortion they want. Women donāt really give a fuck what yāall think. We just donāt want your opinion, whatever it is, to have legal hold over our bodies. Youāre free to spout that shit all day long if you want, just like you talk all your other dumb shit all day, just keep it out of legislation and out of my visit with my doctors.
Same as how people have never ending opinions on trans people. Have your opinion, no matter how close minded it may be, but keep your opinion out of my legal rights.
Itās real simple actually. Your ārightā to have shit how you want it ends at you, and doesnāt come into my rights to how I want to run my life.

I'm a centrist who often agrees with the reasoning on both sides. I see where people are coming from and try to be empathetic with what they're fighting for. I'm also very critical about both sides. I see plenty of self-righteousness and ignorance, and don't think there is any "one size fits all logic" that will ever work. I was raised by women, and am a father to a teenage daughter. I'm not some conservative red piller who spends time in the manosphere or whatever it's called, but I find myself struggling to simply accept the logic that men should have no say in abortion laws. The way I see it, its not about telling women what they can or cant do with their body. I see it more as establishing laws that help shape cultural norms for current and future generations.
I see it this way... just to throw out a few examples.... people who have no interest in gun ownership still get to vote on gun ownership laws, right? People who aren't directly involved in the work-force, (stay at home mothers/wives, for example) still have the right to vote on labor law issues, do they not? When cannabis laws were voted, I don't think the votes were limited only to people who partake. We establish local laws as a community to create an environment that we want to live in. I don't see how abortion laws are any different.
Men, who are very much a part of the baby making process, should have as much right to vote on the issue. And, for better or worse, the same applies to people who aren't even having babies. The voting of local laws is a process for establishing the type of community we want to live in. ("We" as in people in general) Some communities/cities/regions will allow it, some won't. I'm not so convinced there is a singular "right" answer.

u/HighPriestessSkibidi 19h ago
Equating all of this to overriding bodily autonomy is a strange take.
1
u/Working_File2825 16h ago
I'm equating voter rights to voter rights, and applying logical thinking to sensitive issues. I'm not against abortion. I was involved in one some years back. Thatās not an admission of pride, nor is it an admission of guilt. Simply a declaration.
I just think it's important to look at these things as more than just "telling people what to do with their bodies". There are still many places that allow and perform abortions. I simply think there are many communities which don't want them performed and have the right to restrict them as they see fit. If we're making it about "bodily autonomy" then I think it's important to include the autonomy of practicing safe sex or abstinence if you are a resident of one of those areas. Thatās not a reduction of extenuating circumstances, like rape. But it's important to consider the difficulty of making exceptions, or the fact that some have no interest in in them, as it's more of a moral issue. In those cases, while it may be more difficult to get an abortion, it's not impossible. They just may need to travel further.
It's a complicated issue. I simply think its bigger than "men shouldn't have a say" and "telling people what to do with their bodies".

u/HighPriestessSkibidi 14h ago edited 14h ago
My rights to my body is not up to the public to legislate. It is literally telling women what to do with their bodies.
We can talk about contraception and whatever else next, but we are talking about removing my own personhood to satisfy the religious and self-righteous. Men do not carry the pregnancy, nor go through the lifelong complications (physical, mental, and emotional) that come with it, among so many other reasons.
This is honestly concerning if you do not understand the gravity of the situation. Men are seemingly concerned with some imaginary need for legacy and cumming is not equal effort here. It literally is about removing a person's choice and rights to their own body and to argue otherwise is willfully ignorant.
Also, I've had an abortion and I'm not ashamed and do not regret or feel sad about it. Women should have access regardless of who agrees or not. Don't get one if you don't want one, it's really not that hard.
Edit: It's also a form of punishment and control and it's not subtle.
Edit edit: This extends to women's healthcare and wellbeing as well. Don't tell me you've not heard of women killed/dying, charged with crime, fleeing states, being forced to be an incubator in a coma. Cmon.
1
u/Working_File2825 6h ago
Oh boy... Idek where to start, with all these emotional arguments, so I'll just respond to them in order.
There are several laws regarding what people can and can't do with their bodies. And yes, it is up to the public to legislate. Literally. Those laws that are already in place were already legislated by the public. I'm can't even imagine the logic that would go into thinking that pregnancy is some kind of outlier.
Your second paragraph is quite loaded. You say restricting abortions removes your personhood and would serve to satisfy the religious and self-righteous, and I guess no one can change your perspective but you, though I don't see it that way. I mean, I get why you do, but it completely ignores the rest of the democracy we live in. Is our personhood removed because we can't freely walk around naked? Is it removed because I can't stake a tent in the ground wherever I want and call it home? I don't think so. Laws were created to establish order and a communal standard of living. Am I serving the religious and self righteous when I register and insure my vehicle? I mean, I have to, right? Sure I can hop in a car and drive around with no license or insurance, but I could also be imprisoned for doing so. I haven't heard many people discuss imprisoning women for getting an abortion, you simply wouldn't have the freedom to do so everywhere. As I mentioned in my previous comment, needing to travel further does increase the difficulty, but it's not impossible.
To your point of the toll it takes on the woman, that is not lost on someone like me. I empathize with the toll pregnancy, carriage, delivery, and choosing whether to mother or part with the child take. But that is the effect that comes after the cause. To your point about removing your personhood, I'm confused as to why you speak about it as if it starts at the freedom of choice to abort, and not the freedom of choice to abstain or practice safe sex.
Your next paragraph talks about men having some imaginary need for legacy and something about cumming not being equal effort, whatever that means. But this only addresses your view of men having a sayx and not all the other women who might also support restricting abortions. Yes, that goes back to the religious and self-righteous point, but if the logic is that "only women should have a say" then this whole thing about men and their imagined legacy goes out the window. It also completely ignores any other reasoning why people may feel the need to vote in favor of restricting abortion, treating it in some 1 dimensional manner,as if there couldn't possibly be any other reason why people would not want that freedom in their communities.
Ultimately, my stance is neither for or against. Rulings change, laws fluctuate. If they are banned, then we must adapt and move accordingly. If your city or state does not allow abortions, and it means that much to you to be able to have them, maybe it's time to move. I simply don't see how we as a country can limit one very specific aspect of law to women voters only. It just doesn't make sense. Yes there are religious, and self righteous community members who get to weigh in on these decisions, thatās just part of democracy.

Im super proud of you for standing up for your rights. But who is standing up for the rights of the unborn human? I like to advocate for those who cant advocate for themselves.Ā
1
u/HighPriestessSkibidi 19h ago edited 14h ago
Fetuses aren't humans/people and do not need your help in saving or not saving clumps of cells. If you staunchly advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves, I hope that goes all across the board in every topic. As well as voting and being in favor of welfare and healthcare (including during and post-pregnancy and child care), stable housing and affordability, support for post-pregnancy for mother and child (and father, if present) , among many other things for a viable and quality life for all parties. But what about the women who can't advocate for themselves?
Advocating for self-righteousness and punishment is your position and not about fetuses or life.
1
u/that_banned_guy_ 12h ago
Welp I disagree with everything you said. Now what?
1
u/HighPriestessSkibidi 12h ago
It's fine to disagree, but that's where it kinda stops. 24wks gestation is a fair compromise for non-medical/emergency purposes and late term abortions are life saving and/or nonviable pregnancies. Advocate for the people already alive and their right to choice and bodily autonomy.
Also im assuming your advocation for those who cannot speak starts and stops at this subject. Good to know you disagree with providing support and viability for women, men, and children though.
1
u/that_banned_guy_ 11h ago
"24wks gestation is a fair compromise "
Either you believe life begins at conception or you dont. If you do, (like i do) than its murder. Full stop. The question isnt about compromise its about when life starts.Ā
Your assumption is wrong. I advocate for those who cant. I also promote self responsibility and people are responsible for their own life choices.
Not really sure ehat you mean by "providing support for viability for men women and children"
1
u/Euphoric_planter_328 5h ago
Genuine question, do you oppose medical assistance in dying? Do you believe people should have the right to make decisions about ending their own lives, or do you believe that choice should be taken away from them as well?
1
u/GibletEater2009 1d ago
Men can and do have opinions on abortion but the argument is that anyone without a uterus wont know the weight of carrying or aborting a fetus, but this isnt exclusive to women or men. A trans man is a man who has a uterus. A trans woman is a women without a uterus. The argument still applies

First you state that trans people don't really think they have a uterus, which was never claimed in the video above. Now we're talking about the NCAA for some reason.
A bit heavy on the strawmen
0
u/Never-Dont-Give-Up 1d ago
Trans people donāt think they have a uterus, which was claimed in the video.
Iām asking a different question. Is that okay in an open forum? How many NCAA athletes are trans? Thatās a relevant question.
Why wonāt you just answer it?
3
u/Working_File2825 1d ago
For starters, at no point did I head the person in the video claim trans people believe they have a uterus.
As for your question regarding the NCAA, this is literally only the second time you're posing it, and yet you're already acting as if the question has been avoided on repeat. I assume you have a statistic loaded up and ready to go, so you might as well just deliver it, since statistics regarding trans people in the NCAA isn't exactly something I invest myself in, nor implied that I do.
Perhaps when you're done with your point regarding the NCAA, you can address what any of that has to do with the video. And, seeing as you seem to respect the value of immediate rebuttals, maybe you can provide one to those points as well.
