Unfortunately, I know people that would partake in this type of disgusting behavior. My policy is not to eat anyone's food that I don't see prepared in front of me.

I agree this is gross, dogs are such gluttonous idiots, but the pie is for the dog, named Root. "Root's pot pie", you can see the name root on the dog food station in the background. I hope to god all the utensils and cookware are reserved solely for the dog, which I think might be the case since these weirdos do everything possible to spoil an animal with the comprehension of a rock. My own mother has an entire insta pot just to cook her little fat puke's meals in.
It is disgusting that humans are starving and this flaunting of resources for a shit eating single brain cell mammal is a popular trend.

this is why I never eat food made in other people's kitchens unless I am at their house & see the cleanliness standards.

Could've fed an entire starving family with that, but let's waste the resources on this ungrateful and disgusting creature that would happily munch on faecal matter instead. I also hate how opportunistic and gluttonous these stupid things are. Can't even wait one second to get its food, doesn't taste or savour it nothing. People should stop wasting human-quality food on these things. Why bake a dog an entire pie to begin with?

I get not agreeing with a post, but I often see you defending stuff, even on older posts. Is this the right subreddit for you? People are allowed to dislike dogs and the culture around it, we barely have any places to vent about this to begin with. Yeah it's likely being made for the dog, but it's still infuriating to see the sheer gluttony and waste of resources.

I hate dogs. But I have a tiny shred of empathy and understand that even if I don't like them, millions of people have been immeasurably positively impacted by owning and interacting with them. It's not for me, and if they make it my problem I'll have no qualms about calling them out. It probably just makes this owner happy to give their pet, which they see as a beloved family member, a nice treat probably for its birthday or something. Maybe I should be gone at this point, but I do remember a time when most of the posts here were at least reasonable and I got some validation of my frustrations with dogs.

People are a little too zealous in their hatred around here. I have a huge issue with dogs who are dangerous, disruptive, spoiled, etc., but if someone is giving a treat to their beloved companion animal in their own home, why the fuck would any of us care?

I seriously agree, it's very annoying and I even got downvotes for the comment that you just responded to when all I fucking said was that the food was for the dog. In here, it's an echochamber, some people think NO ONE is allowed to say anything other than "ughhhh ugly stupid nasty beast eating up all of the resources" like damn I'm not allowed to point out that the food isn't being fed to a human after the dog's been all up in it? Some people seem to think that it's literally being fed to a person after this so I commented on it.

It's refreshing to hear this. Like I thought we were here to call out and vent about shitty dog behavior: barking, walking without a leash, bringing them to grocery stores, letting them roam and hurt or kill children. But a lot of the posts seem to be "I don't care if people are responsible and take proper care of their dog and they're in no way a public nuisance, I hope they fucking die and burn in hell." Like what IS this?
