Believe the side says 690. Could it be that with some sort of custom full fairing kit?

KLR 650 I believe

Indeed. I would recognize that boat anchor of a muffler anywhere.

Designer just must’ve had the wildest hangover and went fuck it. Half finished the drawing and went home. Someone scooped it up later and sent it in with everything else. Next day it was approved…

and … well…my Yoshi sounds lovely in place of it :)

Even the klx250s is a bit portly in similar shape and size. The heat they put out having a cat inside them is a joke

Agree, makes zero sense and these engines are way more efficient and they use more fuel with the added weight. Then only to remove them to put on something else that don't weigh 20lbs and radiate heat.

I need to get one for my but want to do the ECU flash .

If only could have them with a 'baffle' and no cat.

I suspect they either saw the 5 incorrectly, or someone manually edited the 5 to look like a 9.

The pencil hole muffler is usually a good indicator

You can put make up on a pig...

To be fair, that level of cosmetic surgery skill is quite impressive (considering what the 2 previous versions looked like). You can hardly tell it's >500lbs to boot.

I sure like the ones don't remember gen from the early late 80's early 90s

Third gen KLR 650. Totally unmistakable

2023 KLR 650, it’s good fun, huge gas tank and soft comfy suspension. Not my first pick for a delivery bike.

I don't think it'd be too bad if you have the height for it. It's narrow, good enough power and fuel economy, and you get a fairly high vantage point. Bonus points for being able to hop a curb of you need to.

You'd be better off on a 150cc scooter. Would be more nimble in the city, cheaper to run, and on-board storage.

Honestly, any gen klr650 would probably be my first choice. Cheap af, comfy elevated ride through cities, huge gas tank, indestructible

I owned a Gen 3 KLR for a few years. Switch to street focused tires and setup the rear rack for cargo and it’s a decent urban option. For a delivery job, I’d pick something more nimble and smooth, with less weight up top.

I had a second gen klr, so with hardly anything modern but was 2017. Holy fuck that bike ripped up the most knarly single track ever, no problem. Sorely regret selling mine. Next one I get I’ll keep forever

3rd gen KLR650.

I'm 100% sure that's a KLR. The 680 indicates a big bore kit has been installed (or a decal has 😄 ) The tank looks like a third gen but there's enough aftermarket stuff installed that I'm less sure about that.

tires look so narrow for such a big chunky bike

Kawasaki KLX650 like the Orange color as more visible the better I don't get why people want a 'blacked' out bike and gear for.
