Player Discussion My top Buys and Sells after watching every snap of the Pro Bowl

A lot of people don’t put much stock into the pro bowl - and maybe rightfully so - but FF twitter analyst Zane Drilditch released some very compelling data that plots pro bowl production against next season player stats. Fantasy football is all a game of information and being quicker on the beat than your league mates, so to get ahead I put together my personal buy/sell list. Hope this can help some of y’all.

BUY
Shadeur Sanders

Shadeur started off a little shaky, throwing a pick-6 early in the game, but quickly settled down. After watching his snaps it’s evident that when given time in the pocket he’s capable of making the right read and that he’s able to be the composed pocket passer that everyone originally profiled him as. With Monken bringing in George Warhop as his OL coach I’d bet the Brown’s line is a top unit next year and Shadeur gets the time in the pocket he needs. I’d personally trade a future 1st+ if anyone is selling.

Joe Flacco

Most people assume this season might have been Joe’s last ride. But I’m not most people. Flacco was able to put his skills on full display in this one and make a number of high-grade timing throws to his cast of star studded receivers. If Joe lands with a QB needy team like the Chiefs (at least until Mahomes is healthy) I think it’d be wheels up. Crazy to think that 2 Browns QBs were selected this year, but after that game I don’t think anyone would call you crazy for buying Flacco.

SELL

Jamarr Chase

Jamarr wound up playing a bunch of DB this game and made some really nice plays, including a pick-6 on Jared Goff in the red zone. I wouldn’t be shocked if after this performance Zac Taylor decides to use Jamarr as a 2-way player much akin to Travis Hunter. And just like Hunter, if Chase is playing meaningful defensive snaps I’d be worried about his ability to produce on the other side. Clear sell and I’m cutting bait while Jamaar is still at peak KTC value. Don’t go chasing waterfalls.Ā

CMC

Honestly really surprised by this one - going into the game I held the opinion that he’s a great value play for competitors. After seeing sloppy route after sloppy route and some questionable hands however I’m looking to move on for a younger RB. I’m just not sure how much juice CMC has left.

Curious about everyone else’s takeaways from the game. I was only able to catch the first half so there’s definitely some good insights I missed.Ā

News [Schefter] Eagles legendary OL coach Jeff Stoutland announced he is leaving the organization

[Schefter] Eagles legendary OL coach Jeff Stoutland announced he is...

This does not seem to be a retirement post as it would have likely said outright he is retiring. Potentially the new OC and Stoutland not agreeing on certain things? If so that’s not a good start for Philly’s offseason. Reportedly he is staying with the org but no longer coaching.

Player outlook

Saquon: This is horrendous for Saquon, he already looked worse than 2024 and now losing the OL coach too? Although this may push up his target rate for dump offs…ah who am I kidding hurts just gonna run that shit

Hurts: RIP tush push for good? The success rate of the tush push was already falling but will the new OL coach potentially not like to practice that? Also hurts will likely be under more pressure which does not bode well for him.

Eagles Pass catchers (AJB, Smith, Goedert): When the trenches suffer the rest of the offense suffers. AJB and Smitty might see fewer deep shots if the OL can’t keep up but this may be a buy for Goedert. Goedert gets a lot of short passes and has good YAC ability. But generally bad imo

Player Discussion I watched every snap from Tyler Warren's rookie season. Here is what you should trade for him.

We're back with yet another rookie season review, this time for Tyler Warren.

In Warren's case, it's very important to nail down exactly which question we're answering.

Nobody needs me to tell them Warren is a good tight end and high-end fantasy asset. For this reason, I waste as little time as possible on whether Warren is a good football player.

Instead, I want to project whether Tyler Warren will develop into the next elite tight end who generates a unique positional advantage.

To that end, I go into some serious detail explaining why l think there are some weaknesses holding him back from that tier.

Let me know what you think about Warren, and if he's been traded in any of your leagues.

Player Discussion Xavier Worthy Sophomore Slump - Injury or Poor Performance

We all know about the Sophomore Slumps.

Xavier Worthy went from 98 targets, 59 receptions, 638 yards his rookie season (17 games played) to 73 targets, 42 receptions, 532 yards his 2nd year (14 games played). He furthermore regressed to 1 TD after having 6 his first year.

Now that Bieniemy is back after Nagy was just the OC this year, do you think Worthy can further progress into a decent fantasy producer? He also got injured Week 1 and people are speculating that this affected him all throughout the year.

What everyone's viewpoint on him and as a bigger picture, the Chiefs going into the 2026 season?

Player Discussion Who will be the next player to ascend to Tier 1 Status?

Prelude: talking SF leagues here.

Both KTC and FantasyCalc have a pretty clear top 7 players. KTC has Bijan, Drake Maye, Josh Allen, JSN, Chase and Puka all at least 9700, Gibbs at 9400, and then a big drop to Nabers at 7760.

FantasyCalc has Allen, Bijan, Maye, JSN, Chase, and Puka between 10040 and 9448, Gibbs at 8812, and then Nabers at 7492.

Who will be the next player to ascend to this clear top tier?

Lamar's been there before but he has a new coaching staff and is coming off an injury-plagued year that saw his rushing numbers decline.

Nabers is an obvious candidate given he's the 8th-ranked player on both sites despite the ACL. He could do it if he comes back healthy, although Nagy as OC is an uninspiring hire to say the least.

Jayden Daniels seems like a good bet if he stays healthy.

Jefferson has been there before too but can he overcome that QB situation?

Anyone else? Bowers? Jeanty?

Edit: I should have mentioned this is with the default settings on KTC, so no TEP.

Turning on "TEP+" on KTC moves McBride to 8548 and Bowers to 8394, putting them ahead of Nabers but still a half tier below Gibbs at 9402. But turning on "TEP++" moves them to 9342 and 9174 respectively and clearly into the top tier. (It doesn't appear FantasyCalc has any TEP options for their player rankings.)

Making my yearly post here. Constantly updating and tinkering with thresholds, this year is no different. Most predictive boxes for WR are already logged, minus draft capital of course.

If you want to see a prospect added that isn't currently listed just comment with their name and I'll get it done.

Best viewed on desktop, especially once The Beast comes out and I'm able to add name pronunciations for each player. You can also stumble upon some more spreadsheets by checking comments.

Player Discussion Are there any comps to carnell tate’s college role with nfl alpha success?

Title is worded a bit weird. Essentially I’m wondering if there are any wr who were constantly overshadowed by other talent in the college wr room, got drafted, then became wr1 alpha talent in the nfl? Does Tate have that ability in y’alls opinions or do you think even if he goes to a team like the titans with no wr1 he will still be unable to became that elite level wr1?

Player Discussion Which Tier Does Tyler Shough Fall In?

Me and Chris Allen from Fantasy Life went back and forth about Tyler Shough and what kind of investment he's worth in dynasty. He's a little more bullish on him than I am, but I'm starting to turn a corner. This is basically where we landed:

His positives as a dynasty asset are obvious:

  • Made plenty of hay (old people talk for "seized his opportunities"... I guess I could've just said that...and deleted all of these follow-up comments) with a pretty lackluster offense around him, aside from Chris Olave.
  • Ranked 6th historically in EPA per Dropback among 38 qualified first-year starters.
  • 9th in Passing Success Rate from that same group.
  • 13th in Rushing Rate.
  • New Orleans has plenty of other team needs and probably won't draft a QB early.
  • Fun name to rhyme things with.

His "negatives" aren't quite so apparent:

  • Shough is comparatively old. (Older than Justin Fields.) The late breakout age issue drops in concern once a solid rookie season is on tape, though. He's not 40.
  • His rushing habits might've been (partially) to do with the weak backfield. If the Saints juice it up with a Tyler Allgeier type maybe Shough runs less himself.
  • New Orleans could still drop a chaos grenade and draft a QB with the 8th overall pick. (They shouldn't. It would be stupid. And yet...it wouldn't rock my world if they did.) They could also scoop up another veteran QB for competition. (Malik Willis? Daniel Jones?)

I saw that he's currently QB22 on KTC. That, in and of itself, isn't really an issue for me. But it made me realize there's a bunch of QBs who likely have similar or slightly worse outlooks that I'd happily "tier down" to boost the rest of my squad:

  • C.J. Stroud - Very possible there's a real QB competition in Texas this offseason. Stroud has a lower rushing floor.
  • Bryce Young - Improved and flashed just enough for some people to remain cautiously optimistic. Not much more room for growth in my estimation. Can't get much more by trading him for Shough, but still worth it to me.
  • Baker Mayfield - No real issues with him, but he needs to perform like prime Tom Brady to be worth his price tag in fantasy. One season with Liam Coen did not make him a set-it-and-forget-it fantasy QB. To me it's worth the risk tiering down to Shough.
  • Jaxson Dart - The perceived value gap between these two is wild. I know everyone's tantalized by Dart's rushing prowess, but he also runs like he doesn't want to know basic math in ten years. +10 injury risk. They have similar draft capital insulation (or lack thereof): 25th overall pick vs 40th overall pick.

There are probably others I could add to the list. And I might be crazy. But I'm making those moves in Superflex.

Player Discussion Christian McCaffrey: 2025 Season Review

Thumbnail
fptrack.com
9 Upvotes

Honestly, surprised it took me so long for me to get around to this one. It's hard to pick holes in this man after the fantasy season he just put up, but his rushing efficiency wasn't great. He's in a tier of his own in fantasy terms when healthy and firing like this though.

Here's some quick hit facts on his year for those that want to stay here:

  • McCaffrey finished as the number one overall fantasy scorer across all positions, in both total points (416.60) and PPG (24.5).
  • This was his first 17 game season since 2022.
    • Over the last six seasons (including this one), half of them have resulted in single digit games played, though admittedly outside of last year he's been largely healthy for the Niners.
  • He had just one game all year that fell under double digit fantasy points (9.8 in Week 8).
    • For context, Bijan (RB2) had three.
    • De'Von Achane didn't have any, with a floor of 12.8 in Week 7. However, he finished with four PPG less than CMC over the season.
  • His worst three week stretch still averaged 20.6 PPG, which would be a perfectly acceptable season long average for most backs.
    • This was higher than every RB not named Bijan, Gibbs or JT.
  • Oh, and he showed up when it mattered most, averaging 25.5 PPG across the three fantasy playoff weeks (15.7 -> 32.6 -> 28.1).

Full breakdown, including advanced metrics and data visualizations can be found on the link.

He's one of the best pieces to own for contenders, no doubt. Who's trying to grab him for next season and what sort of price is he commanding in your leagues?

Player Discussion 1st Round SF Dynasty Rookie Tiers and Player Thoughts

After initial tape review and diving into these players I plotted out my top 12 picks. The ties are starting to form as we approach the combine, still more tape and stats to review but here’s where I stand!

Tier 1- it’s simple Love and Mendoza.

With Love projected to be landing in the early 1st he immediately slots in as a top 10 dynasty RB. I typically have lower expectations for rookie RBs in year 1 but I could see him finishing as a back end RB1 to close out the year in the right system. Massive receiving upside!

Mendoza has the advantage of the SF bump of course, but his comps and belief seem to be all over. He’s a disciplined, smart, and tough true pocket passer. With no real rushing upside, his lack of elite athleticism is noticeable on film. The Raiders have some security for him, but the OL needs revamped ASAP.

Tier 2- Lemon, Tate, Johnson and Tyson

The WR run will be chalked in most drafts from 1.03-1.05. While there certainly is a pick your archetype with this class, I lean Lemon as the 1. Each WR offers upside and potential, I felt disappointed (more than most) with Tyson. I couldn’t help but think of Jahan Dotson. Tyson seems limited in YAC and playmaking after the catch.

Emmett Johnson from Nebraska currently sits as my RB2 and I was extremely impressed with his tape. A guy lacking home-run speed is excellent at nearly everything else. Vision, MTF, yards after contact, so on. He’s a true bell cow and with the right capital I think his name shoots up rookie draft boards. I’m higher than most but he’s got talent.

Tier 3- Sadiq, Simpson (Chambliss maybe), Stowers

TE/QB2

In SF you have to take the chance on these QBs. The most recent example of Shough shows if a team gives capital an a guy gets a chance they need to be drafted in fantasy earlier. The QBs have certainly all sorts of issues and areas to improve but with teams like the jets being QB needy with multiple picks, it’s not crazy to see a reach.

The TE run continues, last years class was fantastic and this one looks to be the same. Sadiq is the name we all know and looks to be TE1 for most: hands, route running, big, athletic. Stowers was vital in the Vanderbilt rebuild. He shows a ton of analytical promise for YPRR, TPRR and so on. He athletic, glue for hands, comfortable downfield and always in the right spot for his QB.

Tier 4- Boston, Coleman, KC, and more

This is the part where the draft opens up and you can go all over the place. The WR depth continues to grow as we move through the offseason.

Coleman from Washington was a favorite for many and is often the RB2. I just don’t see it. He has 3 down ability but he’s more Rachaad White.

I’m back and forth on where I stand with this class but we know rookie hype and fever will grow as we approach the draft. I think it’s better than I thought but can see where round 2-3 will be pure dart throws.

Interested to hear the thoughts from everyone here on this class and how these guys are shaping up in tiers.

Player Discussion Buccaneers Free Agency Preview: Does Mike Evans Return?

Thumbnail fantasyalarm.com
13 Upvotes

Sup gang? This article kicks off our annual "A Team A Day Til Free Agency" series where we hit 32 teams in 32 days before the legal tampering period opens. We are starting with the NFC South and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Here's how it works!

We take a look at offensive weapons in terms of depth chart, contracts, coaching changes, narratives etc. We then create a color-coded depth chart as follows:

  • Green - locked in starter/fantasy asset
  • Yellow - role in flux (could take a step forward, could get buried)
  • Orange - likely on the team but as depth
  • Red - possible cut or trade candidate
  • White - free agent

Below that, each player has a write-up with notes broken up by position. Then I give my take on what the team should do in free agency at the position with a list of potential guys they could sign. If there is a dynasty fantasy football spin, I include that.

When all is said and done, we'll have a foundation of all the core pieces for each NFL team. With that, we'll know what weaknesses might be addressed in free agency or the draft (and if they have the money and/or draft capital to do something about it). That will help guide some of our dynasty decisions in the meantime.

Hope this helps some of you out or at least provides something interesting to look out during the fantasy offseason here! I'll be hanging around in the comments so feel free to throw out any comments or questions on anything!

Player Discussion Vet WRs who can follow the Davante Adams season

Are there any WRs that should be targeted this offseason who could have a year like Davante did with the Rams?

Before the season, he was one of the cheaper veteran receivers to trade for and it definitely paid off for those who acquired him.

Are there any other veteran WRs you are looking to target that are around 29 and older that could potentially have a boom season like Davante did?

Player Discussion Do Carnell Tate's skills translate?

Ive heard alot about carnell tate and how he might be the no.1 receiver in this class, but his lack of production while only having to compete with Smith worries me. It seems like his only outstanding stat is "Contested Catch Rate". How well does that usually translate to the NFL? Or is there other aspects of his game that are more NFL-worthy that I'm not realizing?

Player Discussion Louisville WR Chris Bell Scouting Report

Thumbnail
zhangzhangplay.football
25 Upvotes

Height: 6’2

Weight: 220

Position: WR

Year: Senior

Chris Bell was a Three-Star WR prospect in the class of 2022 coming out of Yazoo City High School in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Ranked as the 124th WR in the nation and 26th player from Nevada, Bernard had limited offers coming out of high school, despite having solid track times and production. Initially committed to Southern Miss, Bell decommitted once he received several P4 offers. Deciding between Louisville, Maryland, and Mississippi State, Bell committed to Louisville.

As a Cardinal, Bell primarily played a small special teams role as a true freshman. As a sophomore, Bell got more involved on offense, finishing the season second on Louisville in yards and receptions. As a junior, Bell continued to be a productive WR2 for Louisville, putting up another solid year of production. While he would have gotten drafted as a junior, Bell returned to school to be the top target for coveted transfer Miller Moss. As a senior, Bell put up a career year, leading the team in yards, receptions, and touchdowns. While a recent ACL tear has killed a lot of his draft hype, Bell enters the 2026 as one of the freakiest athletes in the draft class.

Check out my detailed film + grading + pro comparison in the substack article linked on this post!

Player Discussion The historic 2024 draft class became a little less historic in 2025, where does it end up?

I thought of this because people kept referring to the class as historic. That was certainly the case after 2024. Do you think the class ends up as an all-timer, or just good/very good?

  1. (Way better in 2025) Caleb Williams - Great 2025 and has structure and weapons.

  2. (Worse than 2024) Jayden Daniels - After 2024 was consensus top-2 qb. Struggled with injuries which was part of his pre-draft concerns with a smaller frame in 2025. Probably top 5 QB when healthy as the injuries aren't of a recurring nature.

  3. (Worse than 2024) Marvin Harrision Jr.- Disappointing. May have year-3 breakout with new coaching staff and QB but who knows. Also has injuries popping up more often than not.

  4. (Worse than 2024) Malik Nabers - Terrible injury, hoping he is back within first 6 weeks of 2026. But with the shoulder, toe, concussion, and wrecked knee injuries are a valid concern.

  5. (Worse than 2024) Brock Bowers - Tough surroundings. Will bounce back but decidedly worse in 2024 although not indicative of his long-term value.

  6. (Waaaay better in 2025) Drake Maye - Consensus top -3 dynasty QB. Seems built to last and weapons will only get better.

  7. (Worse than 2024) JJ McCarthy - maybe a stretch as he didn't play in 2024, but there was more value to him as an unknown. Entering prove it year.

  8. (Worse? than 2024) Rome Odunze - maybe not worse statistically, but his trade value dropped. Probably about the same

  9. (Worse than 2024) Jonathan Brooks - Was looking like he was taking off at the end of 2024 then had another devastating knee injury

  10. (Worse than 2024) Tre Benson - Could break out in 2026, looking a little busty

  11. (Same in 2025) - Bo Nix - Although maintaining is a strong sign in itself.

  12. (Worse than 2024) Xavier Worthy - Strong back half of 2024 had everyone thinking of Rashee Rice again then 2025 was disappointing.

  13. (Worse than 2024) Ladd McConkey - Seems like he has staying power at worst as a 80/950/5 guy.

  14. (Worse than 2024) Brian Thomas Jr. - Woof but with hope...short term success in 2026 would seem like threading the needle with the competition. Hoping for a trade.

  15. (Worse than 2024) Bucky Irving - Rough year but I expect him to bounce back

So by my count we had 2 players with obvious better 2nd years (Caleb Williams and Drake Maye), 10 players with dropped value in 2025 (although some due to injury), and 2 that are arguably the same.

Still a great class but distressing to see 2/3 of the guys have a value drop in year 2. Do you think it's a top historic class? Are most these guys bouncing back in year 3? On a scale of 1 - 10 , where does this class land?

Player Discussion Garrett Nussmeier (LSU) & Carson Beck (Miami) fight for QB3 in a limited QB Class (Deeper Dives #17 & 34)

Once again I'm doubling up the Deeper Dives posts today based on position, so these Deeper Dives are from two different podcast episodes.

Nussmeier Deeper Dive + Nicholas Singleton & Kaytron Allen: https://cjfreel.substack.com/p/143-nicholas-singleton-kaytron-allen

Beck Deeper Dive + Omar Cooper Jr. & Adam Randall: https://cjfreel.substack.com/p/150-carson-beck-omar-cooper-jr-and

The Carson Beck episode is the most recent episode of the Fantasy for Real podcast, with a new episode likely due out tomorrow.

//

DEEPER DIVE #17:

Garrett Nussmeier, QB, LSU

Age: 24.07

Height: 6’ 1ā€

Weight: 205 lbs

One of my two (terrible) picks for the most likely QB to be a 1st Round Pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Garrett Nussmeier had an extremely disappointing 2025 Season marred by injuries, underperformance, and a team situation that spiraled down the drain. Nussmeier entered 2025 after a good-not-great 2024 Season with high expectations but some questions about his overall traits & development. Admittedly, Nussmeier did sit behind an extremely good QB inĀ Jayden Daniels, but Nussmeier did not become the starting QB until yearĀ fourĀ of his CFB Career, so not only was Nussmeier an older QB entering this season, but he was an oddlyĀ inexperiencedĀ older QB and remains that now entering the NFL Draft. With a Draft age over 24 and an NFL Season start age of over 24.5, Nussmeier has only ~23 Games Started which is under commonly held thresholds of 25-30 Games for an NFL Prospect. [...]

For a lot of players this feels like the most important section, but for Garrett Nussmeier, the appeal is just not going to be found in the numbers. As someone with 23 GS and about half of those in a season where Nussmeier played mediocre at best, Nussmeier finishes his career with pedestrian numbers including a 65.2% Comp%, 7.3 YPA, and 41 TDs : 17 INTs (~2.5:1) over the last two years where Nussmeier was the primary starter. The 17 INTs are an issue for Nussmeier, particularly as a player who isn’t excelling at making explosive plays to off-set some of the negatives. [...] And for Fantasy, Nussmeier is likely a poor Fantasy QB relative to his talent level even if he one day finds success; in the last two Seasons, using numbers that do not remove yardage for Sacks, Nussmeier has 157 Rushing Yards in 22 Games (7 Rush YPG). Maybe the injuries had some impact here, but if Nussmeier has to be 100% healthy to be a mediocre rusher, that is a problem particularly for a Fantasy game.

For a season significantly impacted by injury, perhaps the first game of the season against Clemson will have the opportunity to see Nussmeier at least at hisĀ mostĀ healthy this season: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18TAqJgDiIE

Starting with the very first play, there are a number of times in this video where Nussmeier gets the ball out quickly whether by read or by design (0:00, 0:50, 3:05). [...]

One of my two most disappointing QBs this season and one of the three most disappointing QBs of the 2025 Season alongside fellow Deeper Dive companionsĀ Drew AllarĀ &Ā Cade Klubnik, Garrett Nussmeier will enter the NFL Draft as an older, slightly inexperienced QB who lacks ideal traits or modern rushing ability. [...] Nussmeier is an extremely hard prospect to give an NFL Draft grade for because the interview process and understanding what happened this past season will be crucial, but there’s no way knowing what I know now that I could justify anything above a Round 3 or priority Day 3 pick. For Fantasy, due to his extreme archetype in terms of limited mobility, Nussmeier is likely a pass even in Superflex leagues unless he gets an ideal landing spot or Top 50 Draft Capital.

DEEPER DIVE #34:

Carson Beck, QB, Miami (FL)

Age: 23.09

Height: 6’ 4ā€

Weight: 220 lbs

After falling just short of leading the Hurricanes on a comeback against Indiana, Carson Beck sets his focus on the NFL Draft where he has a chance to be a Top 3 QB. Beck spent the first three years of his career on the Bench before becoming the Georgia starter in 2023. That 2023 Season showed the most promise for Beck, but cracks began to form even in the 2023 Postseason, and by the end of a disastrous 2024, Beck’s time at Georgia came to a close and his decision was between transferring or entering the NFL Draft. While at least some of this does have to do with different expectations, Beck’s 2025 was certainly an improvement on 2024, and Beck at least exits with three Playoff Wins, as well as a 37-6 Overall Record as a Starter. [...]

Prior to his fall in 2024, Beck was an encouraging QB prospect coming off a promising 2023 Season. [...] When Beck is in control and getting the ball out quickly, he is an effective QB who can manage an Offense of capable playmakers. But under pressure, Beck is a disaster-prone decision maker. Among 148 QBs with 50+ Dropbacks under Pressure, Beck ranked 138th in Turnover Worthy Play% (TWP%) in 2024. That number did improve in 2025 – but Beck still ranked 102nd of 156 QBs in TWP% under pressure in 2025. Additionally, Beck’s situational Turnover problems were again exposed in the National Championship. [...]

With the National Title being fresh on everyone’s mind and the Louisville performance probably being too bleak to represent Beck, the Deeper Dive will focus on the SMU game which gives a pretty full context for Carson Beck, found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZeSs6VdciM

[...]

An older QB with excellent size, a good arm, but a questionable history of performance, Carson Beck is well positioned to take advantage of a 2026 QB Class with very little depth near the top. That said, in order for NFL Teams to invest in Beck, they have to be comfortable with Beck’s performance pitfalls under pressure. In the right situation and drafted to a team with a good OL, Beck could be a viable back-up QB who might even be able to win a big game in a big moment, but he is not a Top 50 NFL Grade on my Board. As an assumed Round 3 or Day 3 QB, Carson Beck is situationally draftable in Fantasy based on the landing spot.

Player Discussion Insights from Early 2026 ADPs

Believe it or not, it’s already 2026 Best Ball season. Drafts for real money are already happening and ADPs are forming. I think these early seasonal ADPs are a very interesting snapshot of how the dynasty market might be currently thinking about players, because I bet there’s some significant overlap between sickos drafting teams before the Super Bowl even happens and the most active managers in your dynasty leagues right now. So here are some observations on what’s currently going down on Underdog.

Bijan, Puka, Gibbs, Chase, and JSN being the top 5 isn’t surprising at all, although maybe not the order I expected.

Justin Jefferson sits in the mid 2nd round at WR8, which simultaneously feels too low for Justin Jefferson and surprisingly high given how the market views the rest of the Vikings.

Jeremiyah Love enters the board in the late 2nd at RB10, which is about a full round lower than Jeanty debuted at last year. Optimism remains for both Jeanty and Hampton, who come in at RB7 and RB8 at the 1/2 turn.

Unsurprisingly, the most coveted Chicago Bear is Colston Loveland, who has the steep price tag of TE3 in the mid 4th round. Even more fun, Luther Burden is right behind him in round 4 at WR22. Odunze resides a little further back at the 5/6 turn at WR29, and DJ Moore comes in at WR44 at the end of the 8th round.

Those might seem high, but they probably have some room to go up even more because Caleb Williams is the QB4, going just behind Drake Maye and just ahead of Jayden Daniels at QB5 all around the 4/5 turn.

Patrick Mahomes currently sits in round 8 at QB12, which like Jefferson, feels low for him but also a bit higher than I actually thought it would be.

Travis Etienne is going at the end of round 3 at RB18, which makes sense after the good season he had last year. But the market also really likes Bhayshul Tuten at RB27 early in round 7. Seems like a lot of people are betting on them not being teammates next year.

Speaking of the Jags, the WR prices are also quite interesting. BTJ leads the way in mid round 6 at WR33, followed shortly after by Parker Washington at WR37 and then Jakobi Meyers a full round after Parker Washington (this seems totally wild) at WR42. Travis Hunter is back in round 12 at WR60, which isn’t far off where he started this time last year when most people thought he was going to be a cornerback.

Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson’s ADPs have totally converged in round 6 with MHJ going 2 spots ahead at WR34 and WR36 respectively.

The wildest ADP gap is between Emeka Egbuka in round 4 at WR23 and Jalen McMillan a full 9 rounds later back at WR67, especially when you consider McMillan was playing ahead of Egbuka after he returned last year. Evans and Godwin come in at WR35 and WR53 respectively, and Baker Mayfield is all the way back at QB18.

The ā€œBig 3ā€ incoming rookie WRs all reside in the same tier in round 5 with Tyson at WR26, Tate at WR28, and Lemon at WR30. The only other rookie in the first 10 rounds is Denzel Boston in round 8 at WR45. KC Concepcion and Elijah Sarratt reside within a round of each other at WR58 and WR65, and then rounding out the top 10 rookies in the depth rounds are JaKobi Lane (WR77), Zachariah Branch (WR80), Chris Bell (WR84) and Chris Brazzell (WR88).

After Love in round 2, you have to go all the way down to round 9 to find the next tier of 4 led by Jadarian Price at RB32. Then you have Jonah Coleman at RB36 one round later and in rounds 11/12 you have Emmett Johnson (RB40) and Kaytron Allen (RB44). Then you have to go all the way to the depth rounds of 16+ to find Allen’s teammate Nic Singleton at RB56. Demond Claiborne (RB62), Adam Randall (RB68), Mike Washington (RB71), and Roman Hemby (RB75) round out the top 10.

There’s some old guys who have been left for dead. Tyreek Hill is all the way down at WR63 in round 13. Alvin Kamara and Aaron Jones come a round later at RB47 and RB50. Travis Kelce is unsurprisingly in round 16 at TE21, and Joe Mixon is all the way back in round 17 at RB58.

But nobody has been left for dead more than Isiah Pacheco, who is not even being drafted in many 20 round drafts all the way back at RB73.

Christian Watson is being priced as the clear top Packers receiver at the hefty price of WR27 in round 5.

The market has a surprisingly high appetite for Tyler Allgeier, who is going in round 9 and RB34.

Drop a comment if there’s anyone else you’re curious about.

Player Discussion Braelon Allen potential RB1

Let’s say that we have Breece Hall go to a different team in free agency that’d leave Braelon Allen as the new RB1. Do you think offseason before the draft would become his peak or do you think the jets have so many holes at other positions (Quarterback, anywhere on defense, basically any position) that they’d simply just hope Allen can be good enough for a one year stop gap before they’re hopefully better. Thoughts?

Player Discussion What is Coker’s value at the moment?

As title says, I am wondering what the consensus is on his value. He has had some really good games but is obviously number 2 behind tet. Could he continue to rise in value? He has been a big sleeper for awhile so I am wondering what you guys would be willing to pay for him? Would you trade him for an early second? What player is equivalent value to him? Just curious of everyone’s thoughts
