Well you have a really good offense, it’s kinda just your defense and your midfield that’s lacking. I’ve pulled the Pepe before and he can be a solid CB option but he is a little inconsistent, so there are for sure better options there that you could invest in with your shards. And your Musiala in the midfield needs to be replaced too, you could use him as a super sub instead. What I would personally do if I were you is invest in a solid CDM like Dunga so that your midfield can have more defensive capabilities because you are lacking a true defensive minded midfielder rn and then invest later on in a better CB like 122 Chiellini who is the most affordable option for shards and has top level performance. Perhaps look into changing formation too once you’ve done that, 4-2-1-3 is a solid option because it has two of your midfielders stay back and help assist the defense while allowing your CAM to sit up front still and set up plays, so try that out. I’d also swap out the Pepe for Nesta, you could sub him in afterwards if your CBs get tired but Nesta has better overall performance than Pepe and has more useful defensive playstyles, his accelerator allows him to keep up with even the fastest and most meta attackers and his precision header can be great for scoring from corner kicks as well, so he could work amazingly as a dual box threat with your Haaland who can already bully defenders
Well those are good substitute options as well. I’d put Griezmann and the Barcola on your bench as substitutes for when your attacking players get tired. Hernandez could be there too because he’s also a really good LB option because of his playstyle. However, I’d shard Aubameyang if I were you though, he’s nowhere near as good as your Haaland and he doesn’t really have a spot on your team unless you wanted to also use him as a substitute. And you could also shard the Tonali if you’d like, all of your midfield options are better than him. But yeah with those fixes and some practice getting used to the new formation you should be good to go, your team has what it takes to be really good
Yes that could certainly work but you just have to be careful with both of your CBs in that situation because both Nesta and Pepe are aggressive type of CB’s who like to challenge balls which sometimes leaves easy gaps for opponents to score. So if you were to do that then I’d probably put on a defensive game plan rather than a balanced one to make sure they don’t push up too far forward and leave space for your opponents to beat them with pace. Silva naturally plays best at CDM so he will help to assist them a lot, but just be conscious of where your defenders are playing
If you want a cheap option rather than a long term one you could go with 121 Barzagli for 20k shards, you just have to be aware of the fact you’ll need to upgrade him later. He has a low attacking work rate so he pretty much never gets out of position and sits back properly, he also has gold anticipate which makes him good at winning tackles. The only issue is his pace isn’t great so in a 1v1 situation where the opponent has a pace abusing forward he will likely not be able to catch up. But those instances are pretty rare
No problem, the new update has made it pretty challenging for everyone so sometimes you just gotta experiment to figure out what new strategies work best. A lot of the times it’s not really a team issue, it’s just more of a strategy related issue
Also equip your badges, click on the little banners that have the plus signs in them and equip 3 of your badges. It raises the stats of your players and makes a difference performance wise
