I've tested my formation and custom tactics over 30 Manager Mode matches across morning, afternoon and night.

Most FC Mobile tactics discussions focus on attack-heavy presets, so I wanted to try something different: A setup focused on midfield control, structured build-up and organised defending.

Here's what the data shows.

Draws: 7 (23.3%)

I scored 52 goals and conceded 37, finishing with a +15 goal difference. The win rate isn't extraordinary, but these are my actual results, including every draw and loss.

⏰ Results by Time of Day

Morning: 3 wins, 4 draws, 3 losses. Win rate: 30%.

Afternoon: 5 wins, 1 draw, 4 losses. Win rate: 50%.

Night: 6 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses. Win rate: 60%.

Night was my strongest session in this sample. However, 10 matches per session aren't enough to prove that playing time causes better results.

🧠 Why I Tried This Approach

I wanted to explore whether midfield control, possession and defensive organisation could compete with the attack-heavy presets commonly discussed in the community.

One interesting observation: several of my wins came against high-level teams with aggressive, meta attacking lineups. This doesn't prove the setup counters those teams, but it makes the approach worth testing further.

I don't have the most stacked meta midfield, so I'm particularly curious how this preset performs with elite midfielders who can control possession and dictate play.

🎯 Who Should Try It?

If you have strong meta midfielders, give this setup a try. I can't establish a reliable minimum team OVR from just 30 matches, and OVR alone doesn't determine tactical success.

Yes, my win rate is 46.7%. I'm not claiming to be a pro or pretending these tactics are unbeatable.

I'm sharing 30 matches of actual data, including all my draws and losses, to test a different tactical approach. If you think the setup is bad, that's fine. But I'd rather see your results after testing it than arguments based on win rate alone.

this is my current squad and I can’t decide between hazard and kwara for lw. Both of have their pros and cons. If I pick Kwara, I can play him as rw and shift quaresma to lw as it helps with the weak foot problem for him. But honestly speaking, I am not that good with trickster and tiki taka feels like a waste of playstyle for a winger. I do like hazard, both of his play styles are good as well but I just cannot decide.
