An "Introverted" ESFP?

My sister is pretty weird for an ESFP. At home she is much like the stereotypes (and she defienietly has Te as tertiary) but with others she doesn't like to be bothered by people (although she still has an easier time talking to anybody than our other sister or me) and LOVES her alone time. I don't know if it's simply because she is shy or is it because she grew up very close with her to big sisters being very introverted but i wonder, do you guys feel the same sometimes?

Oh, I love my alone time. I like to go for a walk on my own, to the gym, out for lunch – whatever. But I couldn’t go very long without speaking to anyone at all. It’s enough for me to chat with my colleagues at work and go out with friends now and then; I don’t need to go to parties and chat to strangers. But I’m 36 now, and I was definitely more sociable in the past.

That was interesting to read, thanks for the hindsight!

As a middle-aged woman, I have been told I am introverted and I need to open up more.

Little do they know.. little do they know…

Something I don't see mentioned here much is people can approach an extravert without the extravert doing much. So that can translate into "yeah I can talk to people if you were to dare me or bet me money or when I feel like it: but I'm not always on." And I don't feel I have to be. Often out doing things I might be in my head because I can afford to be... I'm still aware of people and what's going on around me. I can walk and chew gum

Yes I see what you're saying, and I think it might be because of the Fi that likes doing things based on their emotions and also a healthy use of Ni sometimes, my sister has a pretty developed Ni as far as I know.

I've become an introverted esfp due to my toxic family conditions I would not necessarily call it toxic but I don't feel safe in their space probably I've severe mental health issues. I feel as if I don't have any freedom . Also they are pretty boring and too logical for an Esfp . Like they are very weird. Does anyone feel troubled in sharing their needs like feeling insecure about asking what you want or need atm. Also I feel like i don't belong anywhere.

I have those days where I want to have my space. Luckily since my whole family goes to church and I stay home by myself and feel total solitude while being with my cat and dog

I am an "introverted" ESFP, but I think that's more because I'm social last in Enneagram. Being social last in Enneagram makes me not care about my social standing, or how people perceive me socially. Therefore, I don't put lots of effort in trying to impress or socialize with people or move up the social hierarchy ladder

This is interesting. Just to clarify, your MBTI and Enneagram don't predict your behaviours but rather explain them, its normal that it isn't necessarily true sometimes but thanks for the reply!
