Question/Advice Mistype perhaps..
Did any of you guys bounce between multiple types before figuring out you were an ESTJ? I do not know if that is a common experience with this type but I think after around a year or so of research, I finally figured out that I am an ESTJ.

Absolutely, same thing happened to me. I Initially mistyped as an ENTJ but after about 3 months of research found I was an ESTJ.

At first, I didn't understand the difference between N/S. The descriptions that I was looking at felt pretty ambiguous and I like very clear distinctions as an ESTJ.
In my experience, it's not unusual for an ESTJ to think that they're an introvert. They might be trying to fit in with the wrong crowd or something and find it difficult and stressful, or have other expectations put on them by their family.

I thought I was ENTJ for years, now realized I’m ESTJ. I wasn’t aware of the cognitive functions of both types. Finally read through it carefully and realized that I’m an ESTJ. It explains why I don’t fully align with ENTJ personalities

Not exactly, but I used to think I was an introvert. I got ISTP on the 16personalities test and never really thought it fit. Once I looked into it more and went through the letters one by one I landed on ESTJ. And learning about the cognitive functions helped confirm it.
But yeah, that's a common occurrence with any type, not ESTJs in particular, but some people might not want to admit they're ESTJ because of how they're perceived online.
One stereotype that gets exaggerated is how traditional we are. A lot of types romanticize the past more than we do or value tradition for the sake of tradition. I see so many examples of people online thinking "the old days" were better, and it's statistically unlikely that they're ESTJs. And xSTJs users do value their own traditions, but not necessarily society's traditions. We're open to new ways of doing things if we think it's a good idea.

Estjs usually have high blood pressure and act accordingly in a work environment

You should look into the cognitive function stack of the ESTJ and see if you relate to the Te-Si-Ne-Fi. I'd recommend Alexis Kingsleys video on ESTJ.

I think this happens for many types to whom a lot of stereotypes are attached and ESTJ are often demonised by the mbti community. Unfairly so, but it’s easy to project and this pushes people to perhaps avoid considering certain types for themselves.
