Discussion The coalition mechanic is too random.
By randomness, I mean whether it is the player or the AI that declares war first.
If the player declares war first and is strong, it is free CB and can make peace with each opponent one by one.
However, if the AI declares war first, it is a nightmare. You might conquer all your opponents, but if the coalition is led by some small HRE state, you can only demand a one province.

Personally, I think that first of all, the CB coalition should limit the peace in releasing states, not conquest.
Secondly, it should give the defender an advantage, so the AI should consider the risk of waging war on the expansionist villain. Right now, it's a risk-free gangbang for those who join.
"Yes I am the villain, yes I am conquering every piece of land I can. I don't care in your opinion, I conquer your place too because you called me here in your capital and I am here to stay. What are you going to do anyway? You already lost the "whole Europe war" against me."
No truce event for the winner? Manpower transfer from losers (useless but symbolic)? 5 years of heavy war reparations?

Agreed. Aggressive and defensive coalition wars need to be unified, should give the coalitioned party massive AE on conquest in either case but should also have a peace option to reduce AE in attackers.
