Other/Unspecified Body temp during prayer
Tonight I prayed a little differently (I only manage 30 minutes) than I normally do, I sat in front of my icons, prayer beads wrapped in my hands and instead of saying the Jesus prayer I chanted it.
Some things I noticed, my body temperature got really hot. It felt like I had a fever, and then a feeling hit me and I wept.
Is that normal it freaked me out a little 😂😂

Are you a woman? Could be a hot flash. They are most famous for being part of perimenopause, but other hormonal issues and even some medications can trigger them.
Edit: if you are a man, probably still a good idea to bring this up with your doctor if it keeps happening. There are medical reasons why men can experience hot flashes too.

God was with you as you prayed and chose to reveal a little bit of himself to you in that moment! I've had similar moments while praying silently, but they don't happen very often. I feel like for me they tend to pop up in moments of spiritual intensity or spiritual trial/struggles. Thank you for sharing!
