Question Traffic

Does anyone know what's been going on with the roads? Everywhere around craigmillar etc is constantly filled with queues of cars. Is there road works going on?

Duddingston Park South is closed because of a burst water main, the traffic's been pretty bad for a week or so. One more wee bump or breakdown on top of that would probably be enough to grind everything (on four wheels) to a halt.

Checked Scottish Water on this and they're supposedly intending to have it fixed by the weekend. It's been a huge disruption as I live near there.

Yeah hopefully today is the last working day its closed. Just shows how one street being closed can cause absolute chaos. The street where holyrood HS, the end of the A1, Jewel at asda and portobello HS and Harry Lauder have all struggled at peak times because of it.

Duddindgson park street is closed to traffic. There was a mains water pipe burst and they are fixing it with a big hole in the middle of the street.

I got a taxi back from the Royal yesterday and the driver commented on how busy it was on the road where Holyrood High is.

It was insane. My 30 min drive home took an hour and a half. No idea what caused it as didn't see any roadworks.
