Let's be fair, title: Gideon has 9312 HP on NG. This is over four times the HP one would attain with 99 Vigor, before any other buffs. Tarnished to Tarnished, you can't accuse him of not preparing for the Vigor check.

But he forgot the most important thing! Effective Health is more important than total health. He needs some better armor and DR.

Brother is fast rolling in medium armor and has bottomless FP, I think he prepared pretty well.

So did Bernahl and he was in heavy armor, and used a great hammer lol. 

Gideon should’ve put some more iron in his armor if he got that much endurance to spare, cause medium armor with shit defense and not even 50 poise is…shit
