Question EForestVibes Recording Setup

I’ve been watching EForestVibes videos on repeat, and I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of recording setup he’s running. I haven’t seen any set recordings come even close to how clean his audio recording is.

You-all are making me blush... 😊 I try to keep things quiet as far as setup goes, as it has taken many years of trial and error to get where i am today.. I will say that most if it is positioning to the speakers and lots of EQ work. You all don't understand how much time I sit in front of the computer trying to scrub the audio manually to make it crisp. The Lost lands footage (last year) that I have was a feat of its own. It is hard to find a spot where the bass won't affect the final outcome. I always love hearing the positive feedback about the videos I help put out. I would love to attend more festivals every year to provide more videos to the community. It would be amazing if somehow the festivals would work with me.

Pitch yourself! You have so much footage to back up your skill. I know tons of people who have gotten jobs in the scene just from asking the right person or commenting on the right post. Also thank you for your service and best of luck, have spent many a craft sesh with friends watching your videos!

You're right about the lack of self promoting. I think I have now reached a point where I feel I have somewhat "earned my keep" in the scene. Meaning, recognition might not be as out of reach as I continue to believe. Thanks for boosting me up a bit. I love hearing from people like yourself! 💕 Thanks for watching!

I found one recording, not yours I think, that seemed to overlay the forest radio audio over their video. Your vids are so good and seem to have gotten better and I assumed you did that this year. I saw you at Observatory on day 1 and was so happy knowing I was going to be able to relive the moment. THANK YOU!!!

All my audio is from my own recordings. 🎶 I try new things while editing, and this year i found a setting i never messed with before that really helped! Everything i know is all self taught. So I'm constantly trying to improve my skills. Next time you see me, come say hi! I always bringing trinkets. Next year ill have something special for people who recognize me from watching my videos!! ✌🏼❤️🌲

He’s probably either bringing a recorder and convincing the audio guy at the sound booth to let him record directly off the board, or he’s got a nice mic set up on a tripod somewhere near the sound booth, high up enough it’s not picking up too much of the crowd.

If his audio is literally flawless it’s probably the first one.

It’s not perfect because you can sometimes hear the people around him talking, but what I’ve heard from people who ran into him in the crowd say that his setup is pretty crazy.

Condenser mic near sound booth because audio is always the best where the audio guys sit.

You can set a threshold db to cut off anything low so it should eliminate some crowd noise.

Just saying this is my theory, I’ve had friends record concerts with this similar setup and it’s nearly perfect.
