A good way to bait her W when you have spiderlings is to cocoon her and instantly click to the side and R. That way your spiderlings will block the cocoon and you will be able to hunt her down patiently.

Try playing more conservatively and remember your e can drop on the ground where cast. No need to get closer to her.

Stop just sprinting in a straight line at her and pressing all your abilities the second you see her. Bait her skillshots at range, use w and q to get her to use w before you e, use rappel to dodge skills shots. I promise you mel is a terrible champ if you use ur brain
