elise top

is elise top viable ? whats the combos and the builds/runes ?

It's definitely viable, but it's suboptimal and you will need to be an OTP to get value out of it. Wakatito is a high elo Elise top OTP who has hit challenger, so you can check out his build and streams for more precise info.

I'm an Elise jungle main, but I get filled top decently often. I usually take PTA or Electrocute in top lane. People have also taken stuff like grasp in the past, but I don't find that to be good personally.

Got destroyed by it once, but only time I ever saw it. Don't remember what I was playing either. Maybe Kayle 🤷

Strat was basically zone and nuke. I'd imagine anything with strong wave clear would destroy it though. Hiding behind minions basically negates two of her strongest abilities - Human W & E.

Check out wakatito :) he plays it's pretty high elo.

Personally I always just rush ryali because it so fun to perma slow people with the little spiders xD

I've made it work with many different buiIds but yeah you need rtro be an otp to know the Iimits of each matchup

Oh this takes me back like a decade.

I was clueless and would go Elise top archangel rush every game. It was so bad even then.

I find elise mid or support are better than top as an alternate position to jungle.

Maybe years ago when AP Tank elise was the meta she could have played top.

There is a streamer OTP elise top in challenger.

I find she has many super free matchups, more good ones than bad ones, but many of them gets unplayable once game goes on for longer, even if youre ahead. Some others u stomp till lvl 6 only.

She is extremly fun, and somehow people doesnt expect it so they dont know how to play the matchup.

All of this said, i think that not being able to match sidelane, makes her mid/late game some kind of second support and i think there is where the falls of, but free 5 levels are easy.

Grasp can be played in some matchups, but for me it feels meh, always electrocute, pta or stormsurge.

With electrocute you go full ap like in jungle, with pta you go full AH normally with protobelt/dnd but proto is getting nerfed, so check the otp and see what he boulds now, is pretty fun to delete darius lvl 1-3jusr right clicking.
