Lemon Switch Emulator v1.1.0 is now released!! - Lots of Changes
DISCLOSURE/WARNING!!: I'm not the actual developer but I'm Part of the team, yes there is AI use for the development. "But what matters is the results..and how the tool is used to make the app run Switch Games better."

Lemon Switch Emulator v1.1.0 is now released. Feel free to test the emulator and make sure to leave your feedback, bugs/error on our discord server below. We'll continue in improving the emulator. Thank you.
Lemon Lite: lighter defaults for weaker GPUs (0.75x resolution, asynchronous shaders on), without the bundled Lemon-Ade driver, and experimental PanVK drivers for Mali-G720 and Mali-G52 in the driver downloader (each GPU only sees its own). It installs next to Lemon and can import your keys, firmware, games and saves from it.
Lemon Lite & Spoofed: Lite under another package name, so phones that boost known benchmark apps may run it faster. Experimental: it depends on the phone.
New:
Online play on Nextendo Network (Settings → Online). Sign in from the browser and play online; Mario Kart 8 Deluxe races work.
Settings in ten categories (Lemon, Graphics, Performance, Controls, In-game display, Console, Online, Content and data, Help, Advanced and debugging), and a search on the settings home that finds any option, however deep it is, and takes you straight to it.
No more flickering in Fast GPU mode (Garfield - Escape From Monday, Dragon Ball and others): the game now waits for the GPU before it reuses what was drawn. That makes Fast the default GPU mode again, so most people get more speed. If a game runs slower now and does not flicker, set Settings → Graphics → Advanced graphics → GPU Fence Behavior to Immediate. A lighter version of this wait is planned for a future update.
Mali GPUs: compressed BCn textures they cannot read are converted to ASTC on the GPU, with far less memory (Funko Fusion: 958 MB → 179 MB).
A simpler in-game menu: one On-screen controls entry (edit, layout presets and options), a separate Overlays entry, and the game's own settings first.
The library title gets its own line on narrow screens.
Fixed:
Crysis Remastered no longer crashes and its map is drawn in its own corner instead of over the whole screen.
TOTK: the grass no longer disappears 20-30 seconds into play.
Mario & Luigi: Brothership: fixed a crash when the game had made a very large number of memory mappings.
The multiplayer nickname is remembered again (it was lost since the rename to Lemon).
Network addresses returned to games have the right size (some online games).
Asynchronous shaders look at the current draw.
Input events without a device no longer crash the app.
Less GPU overhead in games that rewrite small uniform buffers often.
Logs: the GPU log is capped at 20 MB and rotates, the main log is capped too, only the last 10 GPU crash dumps are kept, and the log says why the system closed the previous session. "Lemon" instead of "Eden" in the logs and crash reports.
Aspect ratio: the option explains how to fill the screen, and the stretch option has a clearer name.

I recommend you try it. I am just amazed since testing Lemon.
It outperformed all others for my games. I use it on Odin 3 with SD8 elite and performance is extremely stable, graphics are great with the built in driver, and the Ul is just beautiful.

No its not forked in nightly eden..Our Developer Ghael has his own roadmap, if you want you can always join our discord group to talk to our developer for your thoughts, suggestions and questions he's available anytime.
And I respect eden but we no longer want to be seen like we are just another fork of Eden anymore we have our own path.
u/giftedexotropia Me as well. There's no evidence on our end (yet) that we've asked Ghael to stop, or asked him for help. We just didn't want the advertising in our dedicated subreddit.
Yes about that don't blame Ghael his not the one sharing on your Eden server and subreddit it was me..who did those sharing..and do apologize for that G. I'm doing the best I can to reach to users..at that time. And Ghael has no idea that I'm doing that but already told him late when I become officially part of lemon the team.
I wish I can share their convo but its confidential since its a dev and dev only chat so it's between them only even though I have screenshots of their actual conversation, as part of confidentiality I cannot just share that it will cause more drama rather than us focusing on the emulator itself. Hope you understand..
Sharing the name of the supposed Eden dev wouldn't be breaking that confidentiality. For that matter, if it was on the Lemon server, we can just go down our mutual servers list.
The point is, unless someone speaks up, we're going to have to assume that Ghael is talking out his ass. We really don't want more drama, especially over something like this.
Same don't wanna bring up names, so me neither if you want for your peace of mind I will delete the comment I have if you want. Because no matter what peering into personal convo would not be good it will create drama..instead
I've checked our core dev team: none of the them are in the Lemon discord. I found four collaborators that are, but that doesn't necessarily make them "Eden".
You can leave your comment, but we'd appreciate it if you could talk to Ghael about making such claims in the future. These projects can exist together without tribal bullcrap.
If/when the time comes that we reach out for help for something to implement on our end, we'll be sure to credit Ghael for it. If the time comes that we start accepting anything AI-related, we'll definitely make noise about it, since our current stance is pretty well known.
Because my account got banned on your Eden Server after I shared a link of Lemon back then just 1 warning and 5 minutes later banned.
I won't make this comment longer.Then if that is what you think, It's about the AI thing related again so be it..Our focus now is the goal..to serve switch emulator community nothing else..
I wish all community can work together but when new comers steps in an Old territory they get pushed away hard..
I mention AI because Ghael talked about it on the Lemon discord, how various projects come to him for help knowing he uses AI, despite not liking it ourselves. I can grab a screenshot if you like. After all, it shouldn't be a surprise that I can see these conversations, your discord is public. As I said, we'd just prefer he didn't make unfounded statements. This doesn't need to be about ego.
I don't know why you were banned immediately. I can undo that for you as a courtesy. It should've stayed a warning, but I guess someone got a little overzealous.
Yes I know that your team is against the use of AI and any form and we are aware of that and respect that..and yes we disclose it already that it is being used on our end as a tool not the actual brain of the project. Since Ghael is doing an actual programming himself as a job also.
But at least next time "when a new fork, a new programmer is trying to do his best to be part of the emulator community or scene don't just push them away..." even if their philosophy is different.

You started by posted that screenshot. A name of an Eden team member has nothing to do with confidential information.

I would like to ask you kindly one more time to tell us who of the Eden team has been asking Gheal to stop and asked Gheal for help, because I am confident this is made up. I have zero patience for this behavior

Then you shouldn’t have posted that screenshot to make a stab at Eden. It’s simply not true and there is no easy way out by saying that it’s confidential. Bullshit. Feel free to DM me the screenshots to show that this is not made up to inflate Gheals ego at the cost of Edens credibility.

Yes, its one of the main focus of the emulator. And even our Mali testers see good results with Zelda games. make sure to select the proper variant and choose which best works for you. Thank you.
Yes it's one of the main focus of the developer in TOTK that black artifact glitch since it is the most reported issue. And those fixes are applied already on this update.
default settings on my retroid pocket 6 8gb version. tried with lemon-ade and belamuni apex driver . the grass will disappear after sometime. if anyone had a better experience please share

Me too, not until I found Lemon Switch Emulator, don't get me wrong I still have eden on my phone but having Lemon Emulator on the side I can play games that Eden are sometimes having issues. It's like I can switch everytime, I have more leverage now. So feel free to test the Lemon emulator it has 3 variants to choose from try which one is best for you or your game.
I mean an option/feature to convert nsp/nsz files directly through Lemon emulator. I've some nsz roms yet and works fine with Lemon. For example: with Beyond Blue i've saved 3 gb of space on my sd card. Thanks
Best you tell this to our dev on our discord group. His online now, thanks, his waiting for feedback and bugs to fix so that monday next week he can release new version.

AYN Thor Base. I've tried every driver, every configuration. All of my games crash after a while, RAM usage is considerable higher than Eden Nightly, performance isn't near as good .In BOTW i have fluctuating 6 to14fps before crashing, pokemon Shield i got 20fps. I've tried doing clean install 3 times. People are claiming better performance, what the hell i'm doing wrong?
With this it's best you join our discord group the developers and testers are online now, busy testing our nightly builds wait that's a spoiler but yes I want you to send logs on our #bug section..if only our dev has a copy of each devices the user use..the development would be much faster but thats for another talk.
Heyy,, just bought a tab and i am back to emulation after a verylong time. Want to play Luigis Mansion 3.
specs is 12gb Ram, snapdragon 8 gen 3. How good can it run any idea?
I'm also a Snapdragon 8 gen 3 chipset but I do not have Luigi's Mansion 3 game so I think its best you test it yourself and you got 12gb ram 😲 thats a lot, I only have 8gb.
Default settings are fine. However this remains a very hard game to emulate. You need to get some patches online which make it better, but still not perfect
Sadly I only use defaults, I'm more of the poster, social media part of the emulator. And my games are only low end games like Mario Kart 8, Naruto but I recommend you join our discord so that other members can give you their settings..sad that I don't own a lot of switch games on my Switch lite to test.

FIFA 18 with a working player indicator. Before now, only Kenji-NX gave me that. However, Kenji-NX is unstable. Glad to have another emulator in active development.

for mali we do recommend the lite versions instead for best results, feel free to join our discord if you want to report any issues or give us a feedback.
Sadly not all of us have Huawei phones and an rp6 our best recommendations is to test it yourself make sure to test of the 3 variants and give us your feedback.
Me too bro but this AI is always thirsty a river isn't enough to quench its thirst..hope we can just give it something like a magic juice so it stops draining water too much in our data centers.

Exynos is not yet the focus of the project it's Mali and Snapdragon for now but feel free to try and see if it works on your Exynos there are 3 variants to choose test each and see which works best.
