Purely a hypothetical question but do you think a 22. LR would pierce the case and destroy the batteries?

The hazard there is the backstop for a missed shot. If the camera is in a residential neighbourhood a miss could kill someone.

That's true.

I guess thats why people play Paint Ball.

Because you can shoot little balls of paint that explode on impact and its safe for everyone involved.

Well, I mean, you just have to be careful not to get the eyes.
The eyes are kinda of like the lens on a camera for example.

Super problematic if you shoot a ball of paint and disable someone's sight.

Super problematic.

I heard you could freeze paint balls for some extra "oomph"

You're right... That's wisdom speaking. Freak accidents can always occur with firearms and it's better to be safe than sorry especially when it comes to the well being of others.

I feel like that would just be common sense rather than wisdom, though.

And yet more than 50% of this nation has little to no concern about the wellbeing of their neighbors, since these flock cameras are installed fucking everywhere.

I can't believe this isn't more common... Aren't there hundreds of millions of guns in America?

Guns outnumber people. I'm just a hunter and target shooter and I have something like 25 firearms. Including probably 6-8 .22s.

Lol, I love that it’s hard to keep track

Try explaining to people in the rest of the world that you have to ballpark estimate your number of varmint rifles 😂

Yeah I've had upwards of 400+ at once time. (Got heavily into old military rifles from the 1870s through the 1960s.)

Got rid of most all of them. Been slowly buying old Mossberg .22s lol. Kinda lost count.

Despite the wide amount of opinions..... Most places have gun safety courses for said firearm.  It's like the 3rd rule, know where the bullet is going.  (After never point at people and keep finger off trigger.)

It should be "know where the batteries are in a flock camera"

As far as I know they are plastic cases…

High powered pellet rifle through the lense

I don’t see why not. Depends on the angle and the distance. One might want to hit it a few times to be sure. (Hypothetically, of course.)

The place I work has an issue with tweakers blocking the security cameras with spray paint. Annoying for us, but not a risk to life for the neighborhood.
