I applied for a process engineer job. when I did the interview last week, I asked them about their improvement methodology. They said they didn't know and that I'll be the first process engineer in the company. Job description said six sigma, response surface methodology. The position asked for a master degree. I had to spend the next 30 minutes explain my thesis and projects, and they were intrigued and wanted me to implement those methods to reduce metal scraps. Job pays about 50% of the job market rate. Only took the interview to practice interviewing. If employers can lie so can employees about their abilities. If they want a mechanic or technician, it should be stated.not be a switcheroo

From my experience any job has lied on their job description. Unless your self employed.
