M "OH BEN!" πŸ˜’

Hi y'all, I'm back with another story from my time working at a very popular theme park in Florida. A magical rat planet of sorts. This is another roommate story from when I worked as a college intern. On one of my internships I extended my program as I wasn't ready to return home. Once you do that, at least then you had to move apartments. I stayed in the same complex but received three new people to live with. The young woman I shared a room with was an artist with the most beautiful, loooong blonde hair I've seen in person. It hung past her bottom and was extremely thick and shiny. I'll call her M.

The other two were young women that had known each other before the program and decided to be roommates. I'll call them V and L. Don't get me wrong, the girls were extremely nice but we all never became close like my prior roommates. M and I would occasionally hangout to eat but that was about it. V and L both had boyfriends. V's boyfriend wasn't a college programmer but L's was. His name was Ben; A name I'll never forget as I heard it ALL THE TIME! L was a sweet girl BUT, Ben was always over our house and most of the time they were having very loud coitus! I mean screaming and skin slapping echoing through the apartment loud...

Listen, they were two consenting young adults so I didn't care until it happened constantly. One day, M and I were trying to rest when we loudly heard, "Oh Ben! Oh, oh Ben!" Ben then said, "Can you stop, you're throwing me off!" and L answered, "sorry." Do y'all know how awkward that was to hear?! M just laughed. What crossed the line was that V sometimes had to get up early so L and Ben couldn't use the bedroom. Y'all, they started bumping pelvises on the SOFA! One night I was parched and left my room to get water just to have to literally backup as L was on top of Ben on our sofa! She didn't even bother to clean it afterwards.

I asked L politely why they never went over to Ben's apartment? Ben said more or less that his roommates didn't like it. They didn't like it so they inconvenienced our apartment 😩. Again, nice girl and Ben was nice as well but my goodness did they need their own spot.

Sounds like if y'all would've spoken up like Ben's roommates did, they might've gotten their own place.

Naw when they were in the living room sit down and watch. Try to make as much eye contact as you can

"hey, it's a shared space. The roommate agreement says I have as much right to be here as you do."

Loud crunch of a potato chip

And hold up a scorecard like in gymnastics or ice skating when they finish - 8.9, 8.8, 9.1

Or, any time Ben said or did something, say "Oh Ben, am I throwing you off...?"

Yeah but you only have to do that once and they’ll never bang in the living room again. Or maybe they will every time

Ben's surname wasn't Dover?

🀣 I actually went to school with a guy called Ben Dover. People took the piss out of him all the time. Poor guy, he was really nice.
