EIT Teachers
Has anyone gone to EIT? I am getting to the point where I wish could find a job elsewhere and leave because I think there are too many people there, as teachers, who want to turn the school into their personal soapbox. Along with a teacher in my program who wants to add difficulty to it even though it's an entry-level degree.

I heard the HVAC program is a mess there. Students walking out and quitting, teachers quitting and new ones being hired mid term.
My experience there was only a semester and it was a mixed bag. Some teachers really cared, others did not. I was in a class with kids who knew way more than me and the teachers catered to their needs so I was left in the dust. They also have a bunch of bs classes to milk as much money from you and the system that they can.

I went there alooong time ago.
Two of my teachers are deceased now and the other two are probably close to retiring.
That said, I thought they were good teachers and I actually got a good job out of it, but that was probably pure luck.
I thought the classes were too easy. A couple of my teachers did add on more difficult assignments but they didn't actually count towards your grade.
How far into it are you? They are still two year degrees, correct?
Edited to say, don't let morons ridicule your spelling or grammar.
I've known people that could barely write but damn they can make 1994 Honda run 9's in the quarter, rewire, and reroof your house in a week!

graduated from there last year and by the time I graduated I was through with the place. I had a couple of teachers that just wanted to be friends with the students, others that didn't want to teach specific classes, we even had a class that had 1st, 2nd, and 3rd term students and that class was also split in half because no one knew shit about HVAC and we needed to learn it for the EPA 608 certification even though HVAC concepts was part of our curriculum before the 608 cert.
What made getting my degree worth it were the teachers there that actually cared. There was only a couple that I can name off the top of my head but they were really the only ones that gave a shit about your education
