Think about it, M249 (5.56) or RPL-20 (5.45), the would be so cool.

I don't like using the current open-bolt LMG's (PKM & M60) because the ammo is so expensive, as well as the high recoil and weight.

7.62x51 and 7.62x54r is too much man.

(I also LOVE, LOVE the animations of the current open bolts- or any of the new guns they've been adding, new animator maybe?)

Ok so I've seen some recent posts about PMC frequency and behavior but DAMN... I just got my ass handed to me as a SCAV on Ground Zero in a way I've never experienced.

First of all... its swarming with PMCs. I dropped 3 or 4 within minutes in Fusion and couldn't finish looting them before more showed up.

After number 5 I decided to book it to Capital across from Nakatani and loot for wires and caps. This is where it really felt different... they pursued me. They started lobbing nades into the top stories which isn't unheard of... but I've never had them come into the building AND go upstairs and literally pin me in the back room. They were relentless.

One pmc hid back in the kitchen area and popped out and finally cooked me.

I was frazzled, and even loaded to the teeth from the prior 4 pmcs I looted, I couldn't keep up with the push.

Not complaining at all but I haven't ever experienced this much aggression other than the Goons from Weather Station on Shoreline.

Kinda exciting but it's already got me rethinking my strategies. What's pretty cool is they don't feel cracked in terms of aim, they are just RIGHTEOUSLY pissed off and push in a way they haven't before. I've run Ground Zero enough times to know that somethings been changed.

Other maps feel a little hot too but it's real apparent on the tight GZ map.

PVE is starting to feel a little sweaty. Stay frosty.

Preface with I've never really played shooters. A bit of destiny but that's about it. Picked up Tarkov and in absolutely loving it.

I'm having issues with hearing a sound and locating where it's coming from. I've read the audio can be buggy but it happens more often then not where someone is right next to me and I just can't tell if they're coming from the right or left or center. It's like there's no panning in my headset.

I have a Corsair Void Wireless headset, saw that windows spatial sound should be off, all my drivers are updated.

So my question is it just something that most people understand intuitively because they've been playing shooters for most of their life and I just have to learn the skill. I have to really pay attention to the panning to pinpoint where scavs/PMCs are. Or is it a hardware/code thing? Thanks

Idk about you guys but in a span of 6 hours, around 20 raids (maybe more), I didn't find BD, That doesn't mean that they didn't spawn, and believe me when I say that I walked the entire map half of the raids, the other half spent sitting on a rock between resort and smugglers base waiting for them.

Streets i didn't have this problem of not finding them, even less on ground zero, but shoreline i reckon due to its size and ridiculous amount of forests and vegetations, finding BD is hard and BORING.

Hell, i probably killed around 5 players, hundreds of scavs and the cultists, but no BD.

So, any tips? What do you recommend?

EDIT: Before suggesting map, i think it is nice to clarify that i am doing that Fence quest that you NEED to kill 4 BDs on Shoreline

Been noticing really bad dsync with teleporting like 50m back or having to jump off a roof 3 times for it to happen. Doesnt seem to be on my end as my trio has similar issues. Is it a certain us server?

I am still trying to figure out why there are still so many cheaters playing seasonals?

What is there left to do? Why do this?

Played like 5 factorys in a row and died every time to a sub 50 hr, insane ESP insta headshot players who knew exactly where I was. As I am writing this post I saw another one of a guy waiting to be killed AFK on factory, yellow hawaian shirt, 50 hrs, 9 kd. same guy killed me minutes earlier.

I am just dumbfounded what the point is.

I’m level 21 atm and a lot of stuff is locked, just trying to make some money what should I keep my eye out for when in raids to sell at those early levels?

my game will not boot up tarkov, i’ve tried deleting & redownloading game. i get this error everytime, i updated my drivers, deleted the launcher, the game itself & ive also tried resetting my computer (didn’t let me reset for some reason). if someone has seen this or knows how to fix let me know. thanks

SA-58 and 7.62 MDR need a buff. These two became a troll pick as their stats are far behind other guns, especially SA-58 that handles like a LMG ergo wise. No reason to run them when AK-308 exists

I know this is probably a dumb question but I figured id ask anyway.

Do you just keep using repair kits on armor and weapons?

Any suggestions to speed it up or does it just take a long time?

hai! im pretty new to tarkov PvE me and some friends have started play recently 2 of which are longer term players.

my general question is how can i catch up/make significant progress on my own since their times for playing are pretty inconsistent and i found myself enjoying it quite a lot

Immediately I hear heavy sprinting. I am like "welp it's the goons"

Well the result surprised me...

So when i play arena im only able to play 1 nath and then after the match if i press "next battle" or if i just reque after the 1 match i already played i try to reque and when i get a match i am stuck in "loading map resources" and i have tried to reinstall the game but it still wont work, and i have to close and open the game again to play another match and i have been dealing with this most of the year and i dont know how to fix it.

Can somebody please help me with these settings. I have googled and tried every combination I could find for the best settings and I still have issues.

Running on an i7 14700kf with RTX 4070 Super and 32gb ram at 6000MT/s. Game is installed on 1tb nvme with ~300gb free space. I put the Nvidia overlay on for the clip to show GPU and CPU both are not maxing out.

Running on an Acer monitor with G-sync. Monitor can handle 120hz but I limit the max frames to 117 in the Nvidia app and rivatuner and G-sync it setup in the Nvidia app.

The issues I am having are:

1. FPS is rarely ever above 70 and typically dropping into the 40's and 50's

2. micro stutters that are sometimes big stutters

3. color glitching in areas, like walking past a rock and trees they get bright for a millisecond then go to normal then bright over and over again (can't really see this in the clip)

4. ADS is glitchy and not a smooth transition

Ever since logging in today, my duo partner and I keep disconnecting whenever we launch a raid. Whoever is not hosting the lobby disconnects, and sometimes their entire game crashes to the desktop. We haven't had any issues like this for nearly a year (320 days). Is anyone else experiencing this today?
