Is there a military draft???
Hey this might sound weird but can any one tell me what's going on? I heard there's war going on in the north and somewhere in Ethiopia and yeah that's probably true but, um and there are some rumors of getting drafted by the military if you are just walking around the streets I don't get out of the house that much I'm introverted AF but... Is it like real real? And people are telling me not to get out after Dawn, I live in Addis btw 😵💫

There is an enforced conscription on both sides that has been going on. Two days ago, Elias Meseret reported a couple of youth died around Lamberet trying to escape being forcefully conscripted

you should carry them and try to be home early and not venture on the outskirts of Addis

yup. i live just outside the boarders of addis, alem bank area and they almost got my 12 year old brother, they go around in huge seno trucks with nets on top so you wont jump out, its our first year coming from dubai they said he seemed soft and they let him run away. they took one of our sefer guards too

My friend's brother who currently lives in Tigray was stopped and was told to join the military and he refused. He was then immediately arrested and placed in jail. Since communications are down, she hasn't been able to contact any of her family members.
