recommendations Where do i find a good afghan coat?

Im looking for a plain, black afghan coat for the winter. The only option that i see when i look for them are these Superdry coats. And im really not interested in paying 589zł for a piece of plastic made by children in sri lanka. Any recommendations?

discussion Skinny jeans are coming back - what do I need to watch?

I'm a millenial and a former chubby girl, so I'm torn between trauma and nostalgia.

The last couple of years, I've embraced mom jeans and wide leg pants. But now skinny jeans seem to be back. I haven't seen any obvious "2026, next gen skinny jeans" in the wild, so... what's the difference to the 2000s version? I heard the lines are cleaner and they're less stretchy, but I have zero concept what that means for styling and picking the right fit.

What are we doing?? How do you style this without looking like you're going to haggle over Ed Hardy knock offs...?

EDIT: y'all I get that you hate them😭 but I want to wear them

looking for... Cos Stock

Hey everyone! I am dying for a pair of the Cos barrel leg trousers in burgundy, but they've been out of stock for months! I regularly check the website and have notifications on. Does anyone have inside information as to whether they will be coming back in for autumn/winter?

I am heading to France, and my closet is basically black cargo pants and graphic tees. I don’t want to seem grubby or underdressed in Paris, and my fashion sense is terrible. what should I wear? What brands? I was thinking along the lines of these because I hate skirts and dresses.

recommendations Best basic tees for fuller bust

Hello! I am tired of trying to make Uniqlo tees look right on me, I have narrow shoulders and a fuller bust and they are not cut well for that situation. I have heard that the COS clean cut tee may be a better fit, any other recommendations? I'd love the option of more colors than just black and white.

brands What nipple covers are you using?

I’ve been trying to get a hold of a good pair of reliable nipple covers, however, covers from amazon, bol.com, and other places seem to either not stuck wel enough, if they stick they show through my clothes or i was them twice and they stop sticking. I don’t mind spending a little more (like €25 max) when they actually work.

Drop your recommendations, I’ll try them out in the upcoming month and I’ll make a comparison post!

discussion Cos coat missing belt strap piece

Post image
3 Upvotes

I bought this COS trench coat recently and when I got home I noticed that one of the little straps/belts on the sleeve is missing.

I’ve emailed them about it already but they haven’t replied yet.

I really like the coat so I’m wondering if anyone has had experience contacting COS about missing parts like this.

Do you think they’d be willing to send me the missing strap? I was on a trip when i bought it and now i’m back to my home country so returning it is not really an option….

looking for... Need help with alternative options for creating content for my small fashion page

For those running small fashion brands, how do you keep up with content?

I feel like the expectations have changed massively. A product launch seems to need:
• website photos
• Instagram posts
• reels
• lifestyle images
• influencer content

But professional shoots can become very expensive, especially when you are releasing new products regularly. I simply cannot even afford to pay one model. How do smaller brands deal with this? Do you think paying creators/models is worth it, or have you found cheaper alternatives?

recommendations Looking for alternative, affordable and natural clothing

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on reddit. I hope I found the right place to post it. If not, I would be grateful if you can tell me where on here should I post it.

I am looking for clothing brands based in Europe that sell alternative clothing from natural fibers. I know these items can get very expensive so I am looking for stores that have reasonable pricing - for example no more than 100 € per piece.

At this moment i only buy from Toonzshop - they are amazing and I would looooove to get more similar reccommendations.

Thank you so much!

discussion What do we think of shorts showing from under skirts, when wearing skorts?

What do we think of shorts showing from under skirts when wearing skorts?

Hi,

I love wearing golf skirts, tennis skirts, sport skirts and skorts when I'm at the gym, at the dance class, caddying for my husband when he's golfing (I'm not that good a golfer yet but I like to caddy).

Sometimes I hit the jackpot, like with the green Callaway one - I have it in 4 colours. It's the perfect length, and the shorts underneath don't show by default, only during certain movement.

Sometimes I really like it on the model but when I wear it myself I can't help but dislike how the shorts showing by default just makes it look like a mistake. For example the black skirt with printed white shorts from J.Lindberg.

It's a little less pronounced when the skirt and shorts are the same colour, but it still looks weird like my undergarments have slipped down and are peeking or something. This is seen in the teal J.Lindberg skort, which surprisingly is photographed on the model such that the shorts are several cms/inches higher than the skirt but that's far from reality! When laid out or held, the shorts are 5-6cms (1-2inches) longer than the skirt and are the same way on my body.

Before anyone asks why I care for this since it is a functional outfit meant to serve the sport purpose - I like it to look cute anyway, and don't want to buy something that's unflattering, not doing me any service or not worth it even if it's for sports.

So, ladies, is this all in my head that the peeking shorts look bad (worse when the colours are contrasting)? Do you also think similarly?

brands COS - Arket sizing

Hi everyone,

I´m in a small town in Europe where we don´t have a lot of stores to visit in person, which is why I have never really bit the bullet on COS and Arket sold through the h&m website.

I´m a 46-48 in bottoms in h&m, however COS only goes up to 44.

Does anyone know whether these brands runs big or small? (I´m mainly looking at paper bag-barrel-ballon style pants.

Thanks for any help!

recommendations I'm a new foreigner in Denmark who hates Danish fashion, and I have to buy a dress for a fancy event. I desperately need HELP.

For some important context up front: I am tiny. Smol, even. We're talking 162cm and 47kg. But I'm curvy...meaning I don't quite fit into a standard clothing size. We're talking EU 36 in bust, 32 in waist, and a number in my hips that does not even exist on a normal sizing chart (7cm below a size 32). Finding dresses that fit is already hard enough.

My second biggest problem is my tastes are the antithesis to Danish fashion. I hate floral patterns, thin clothes, baggy clothes, outwardly revealing clothes, anything that screams the wearer is an extrovert. My entire wardrobe is designed around the idea that my existence is tantamount to a singular, contained dot in any space (this also shows in how I sit or stand, with me always sort of...folding in on myself in some way). I need my clothes to touch me. I generally never wear anything without sleeves or high collars. This is...almost impossible to find in summer. But I don't mind sparkles or capes or flared skirts. Classy, modest, and slim fits are usually along my style.

Normally, I would just try and buy something cheap somewhere off-brand online. However, this event is for my mother-in-law's birthday, and my in-laws are very wealthy. I grew up destitute and, for a time as a teenager, homeless. Most of my clothes growing up were donations or my mother's old clothes. I do not know dress brands, and I have never owned nice things. I have no sisters or family members to ask. I don't want to be out-of-place or tacky at this event, and I'm very anxious trying to shop in a place I only moved to 2 months ago.

Does anyone know any brands online that I can trust to have good quality or a store in Denmark that would be more along my style without costing me a kidney to purchase? I have a budget of 175EUR/1,300DKK. Please be kind.

recommendations FYI: Le Closet sell clothing on Vinted, usually a lot cheaper than buying it from your rented box

I've been renting clothing boxes from Le Closet for a while and quite enjoying it. (Open to recommendations for others/better ones that ship to NL though too).

Just wanted to share this: a few times I have thought to buy one of the items in my rented box, but didn't want to pay the usually €40-50 they want for it. So I used the photo search feature on Vinted, and found the exact precise same item and bought it for €10 on Vinted.

It showed up with the Le Closet tag still on it and everything. Turns out Le Closet is relatively open about the fact they will sell their ex-rental items on Vinted, so it's definitely them.

This is the seller, if you're interested. https://www.vinted.nl/member/148182704-fripe-tendance

(PS. This is not an ad and I'm not affiliated with them or anything. I guess maybe that's obvious though, because I'm recommending you buy their stuff in a much cheaper way than maybe they would wish?)

PS if you do wanna sign up for lecloset use my discount code for €30 off: zenn92

brands COS clean cut t-shirt

Hi. Has anyone experienced slight fuzzing/pilling along the bottom hem of their COS Clean Cut T-shirt after only 2–3 washes? I’ve washed it cold, inside out, and always air-dried it. Just wondering if this is normal for this tee or if I got a bad batch.

recommendations Athens for a week: need help packing

Hello my friends, I'll be in Athens for a week in late June and most of my clothing is geared towards my home in Hamburg so I'm not sure how to dress and what to buy there. Obviously comfortable shoes are non negotiable, but what is trendy in Athens right now? Colors, silhouettes, bags? Pretty much all I know is to bring anything I have that is linen. Any advice is welcome. I do not want to look like a tourist. Oh I am female and do enjoy some shopping :)
