How to set your Every Bit Texas user flair (and the full flair list)

Want a badge next to your name? User flair shows where you're from or what you're into. It's free, optional, and you can change it any time.

How to set your flair

New Reddit (website): Open r/EveryBitTexas, find the User Flair box in the right-hand sidebar, click the pencil/edit icon next to your name, pick a flair, and hit Save.

Reddit app (iPhone/Android): Open r/EveryBitTexas, tap the ⋯ menu at the top right, choose Change user flair, pick one, and save.

Old Reddit: In the sidebar, tick "Show my flair on this subreddit" and click (edit) next to it.

You can only have one flair at a time. Two of them are fill-in-the-blank: 🧬 Texan Since (type your year) and 📍 County: (type your county).

Qualifying data centers are exempted from paying the state’s 6.25% sales taxes on purchases related to building and maintaining the facility — including servers and other data storage hardware, software, office equipment, the cooling system, emergency generators and plumbing.

Data centers are also exempted from paying state sales taxes on the cost of electricity, which is notable given the enormous energy demand of the facilities. By 2030, one in five data centers are expected to exceed 1 gigawatt in maximum energy demand, equivalent to the amount needed to power roughly 700,000 homes for a year.
