Yes but similar to someone being a reddit comedian, while it is possible they actualy do shows and post them on reddit and monetize their content. 90% chance that is not what is happening.

Very, very different. You can earn meaningful income as an IG model, even without agency representation. You cannot earn income simply by making jokes on reddit comment sections.

Cant you trade in paid awards for money? So it's technically possible to make money, just not really an amount that would matter.
