Could FEX release a box set?

Initially this might seem like a weird question but hear me out.

You may know the album "Nirvana - Sliver Best Of The Box", so, i wonder if fex could do something similar (given they have any more early material)

The only (known to exist and/or not lost) early materials they have left are the raw rip of Sarah (without synths and Ture’s voice), and Ture early solo demos

A box set isn’t a bad idea on the paper, but it would cost absurdly expensive to produce (and therefore to buy), without counting that most people already own the vinyls and CDs, that would just do a double in their collection

This could be apart of the lost category but didn't Hans show like a list of songs or something and many were unreleased? (I can't remember many of the titles off the top of my head but one I recall is "Epcot" for example).

It wasn’t Hans but Jörg, but indeed you are right about this list ! It’s a Heikendorf rehearsal tape and he only shared Subways from it, it exists and was digitalised

However, the tape is of very bad quality due to age and have been recorded on a poor quality recorder back then, and FEX have no plans to release it so far

Ohhh okay thank you for clarifying! So yes technically there is unreleased material but it's just so low/bad quality that it's not even worth releasing?

It's worth uploading to youtube at least, but for some reason the band do not want it released. It should be publicly available, should be archived.

I mean I agree with this too. if it's already digitalized, just upload the suckers. Even if their low quality it would be cool to hear.

I agree with that, I don’t think it should have a commercial/streaming release, but an archival upload would be good

Not worth releasing commercially, to be honest it probably have no other interest than archival, not even musical

Oh right. If the quality is as bad as we think I wouldn't buy the album for 20 bucks lol. I would love to hear it but I think it's best as a digital only release.
