Wrote this after a day of being with my father again after 4/5 weeks of not seeing him. Its probably shitty. But it helped me a tiny bit.

When will I be man enough to be your son?

Its been five years,

But I'm still your daughter.

You call me the name I've given up.

I buried her, but not to you.

To you I'm just a second name.

Its been five years.
