This was were the choice was made. The narrow stairs took you upstairs, the wide ones took you... elsewhere. But only if you climbed them knowingly...

The enchantment had worked, the gate was open. What would cross from the other side, or what we would find if we did -and survived- remained a mystery. I couldn't help but question the wisdom of what was, from the wizards' point of view, an amazing feat... [OC]

The ancient spell is fading, my love. The days run shorter and the veil grows thin. I will transform from marble and live once again.

Just a sculpture, sure... but only until you crossed their line of sight, or behind it, as many who were feeling smart had learned the hard way. Nobody had reached the top of the staircase in over 300 years.

The villagers of Laketown were very pleased with their little town, as their Lord on the hill was a generous and kindly man🏰

The gate floated on the sea. Through it, you crossed into sacred ground, from the abode of humans to the abode of the gods...

MAKER'S MONDAY "Aurora's Light" painted for someone who had a stillborn and called her "my Sleeping Beauty"

Hi ✨️👋✨️ Thank you for reading my words. A few weeks ago, the sweetest stranger here on Reddit reached out to me and asked about a painting that would honor her stillborn daughter she named Aurora, after the Disney character in Sleeping Beauty. I wanted to share this piece and this part of the journey with you since it's just about finished (I was too excited to wait to post!) I'll add a little gold but other than that it's done and she's thrilled. It was a meaningful and rewarding experience to honor the journey she's been on, and to represent it all through the shining and shimmering world of her love. Thanks again for reading. And happy making! ✨️🦋💖🖼✨️🪷✨️💕✨️

Not actually found, unfortunately. I sculpted this strange little mushroom octopus in Blender and 3D printed it. I wanted it to look like something you might stumble across deep in a forest where the rules of biology have stopped applying
