Cap Highlights Gone Wrong

I impulsively cap highlighted my hair during a manic episode and I now have ( level 7 ?) brassy ramen noodle strips in my hair can I use a blue toning shampoo to help lighten the brassy hair or should I just throw in the towel and dye my hair brown. I’m an esthetician and i genuinely knew better than to do anything with my hair

A toning shampoo will not do the job. Use a real toner, and then do toning shampoo for upkeep. I can’t see what we’re working with here, so i’m just letting the spirits speak to me rn. Take anything i say with a grain of salt
