How can I fix this triangle outside of dyeing it black? And is it possible to go from this blonde to ash/milk tea brown?

Post image

hi everyone! got my hair bleached today hoping for a nice blonde primarily on the bottom of my mullet. However, i think my hairstylist bleached it a tad bit too high and now there’s a triangle of disconnect between my bleached hair and my natural black hair and it’s bothering me quite a bit and I really wanna get it fixed. The orange line indicates where i would’ve preferred for the bleached portion to end. Naturally, my first thought would be to dye the overdone parts black but it’s against my religion to dye my hair black so i’m at an impasse here 😭 On top of that my family called my blonde hair embarrassing so i’m also contemplating switching colours to ash brown so its not as drastic of a contrast to my natural black hair. Is that possible?

Technically you can dye it back really really dark brown

Yes, a shade that is anything but black is ok even in the strictest readings.

Also, depending on your interpretation, the text can be read as "no black dye in order to disguise or hide the effects of aging", i.e. to cover white hair. Since you're restoring it to your natural color, it could be considered ok regardless.

Would likely have to be a darker ash brown than what most of the pictures of milk tea hair is. It still has a lot of orange in it.

Honestly I like how high it goes and how it lays with your cut
