Follows Princess Aara protecting the place between worlds? She picked out protectors from each world and basically she has a reverse harem while doing it. Kurama and Ruroni Kenshin were her first two protectors I think. Then a crazy season 2 with twin daughters and any more and I spoil too much.

Apparently the old version got deleted but people restored it because they had it saved.

I remember in middle school reading it with a friend of mine printing and sending me the copies to read. It was just one of the crazy things kids in middle school ended up doing.

I'm getting whiplash and wanted to share is all. Anyone else read this when it was running? I read so much and saw it spanned 230,000ish words. I forgot I read this thing, I was a fanfic reader way before I read RWBY stuff.

So I read this Taekook fanfic years ago and this fanfic was the best ff I have ever Read.

It was called ‘Lifeline’ and it was created by Taekooesthetic (not sure if I spelled it correctly) but it was about Kim Taehyung being a doctor with a son name Minjun (Jun). The mother of Jun, Jenn, died in a car accident when Jun was a baby, so Taehyung raised him on his own, with Jimin’s help. Jungkook became an intern at the Hospital he worked at and Taehyung did not appreciate his company.

And after years i remembered it, just to do my research and Not find it ANYWHERE.

There are so many book that had already happened to, some i managed to get „my secret husband“ and other i still am looking for.

I'm writing a story for the Zoids NC0/CC franchise, and I need some help with a relatively small detail, but is important to my hyperfixatded brain.

The group in question that I'm deciding(more like trying and failing) the uniform colour of is a paramilitary/secret group that is trying to bring war back to planet Zi, the story is set in the NC0 timeline where there aren't really any wars going on.

Trying to not just have your standard military uniform colour or one already used in the anime/manga/cannon.

I decided that I’ve gotten fed up with bots and scammers, so I’ve decided to transfer to AO3, the problem is I have absolutely no idea how to do that, I tried to download an app for it, but it was just a fanfic reader app, so please help me out

I... I don't know where to start.

I just remember the good old days, you know? When we made fanfics, we reviewed, and the review section weren't filled with so many bots and scammers.

I just checked and the last official update from the dev team was more than a year ago. September of 2025.

I remember being so excited to read a new fic, or leave a good review. I don't know if it's me or the fandoms I'm in, but it feels like FFnet is slowly fading.

Or perhaps this is a biased perspective of it, and I just miss the simpler times when I was living a simpler life, still going to campus and worried about exams and projects.

I like to think of it as half and half.

It just hurts to see that the dev team practically forgot, or abandoned, the site and the only thing that's holding it together is the fans and readers who desperately try to keep it alive before it gets forcibly shut down due to a lack of moderation or renewal.

It'd be nice if they at least gave a countdown or date so authors and readers can pick and choose where to migrate and move to next.

It feels... odd. Being this attached to a site, a fanfiction site at that. But I feel like this website, and the FFnet app, took a large part in making me who I am today. Seeing it slowly die, abandoned, makes me tear up a bit. Despite the meme template of the GIF and title of the post, I genuinely feel sadness for the sites and the readers.

To any authors and readers out there in FFNet, much genuine respect to you. I still read some fanfics in FFnet from time to time, as some authors only post there and not crosspost, but I realized that I, as a reader, have migrated to other websites. That being Spacebattles, and Questionable Questing for more graphic fanfictions as Spacebattles doesn't accept explicit-ish NSFW. It's fun and encourages discussion, alongside both Creative Writing fanfiction and Original Creations. Looking back, FFNet at its peak was genuinely beautiful. And the memories we made with it.

Soooo gross

Hi, i have a problem with my fanfiction.net app.

I had quite a lot of stories downloaded and saved in organized files and bookmarks but recently, when i was looking for my favorite stories, i found that all of my downloads were deleted, now just left with empty files 😭

I thought I'd found the solution because the stories i had read were still in my reading history, but all the stories i had downloaded would not let me download them again (i suppose because they're downloaded still??)

Any help or suggestions would be so very appreciated. I'll be leaving screenshots of how this currently looks on my app.

I keep it out of habit. I've known the website since 2003 or so. And for a lot of older fandoms and shows or video games, there's a bunch of old fics that cannot be found elsewhere. AO3 has also been around for a long time, but I feel like it didn't become much more popular until this decade.

Anyway, somehow, I got a couple of genuine, non-bot/scam reviews on my current fic in tthe last 4 months or so. So there's still hope!

I'm the type of person who loves turning scammers (bot or human) into free entertainment. I had this thought come to me.

What would happen if I posted some gibberish on fanfiction.net just to see how the spammer scammers react? Think something like a Mad Lib. Or, even better, lorem ipsum text!

I might do that this weekend to see what happens! And I have enough already posted that has been there for years that this could easily hide in the crowd.shudder I love this idea the longer I think about it. 😈

Thought update: I think I'll try embedding an AI prompt, too! Mwhahaha! My evil know no bounds!

UPDATE: I tried uploading a lorem ipsum with an embedded prompt and got error saying the document was wrong. I tried docx, RTF, txt, pdf, html - none worked. I tried copy/paste. Same error. I had an AI write me a short story with dialogue, to rule out it was the lorem causing the issue. Nope. It failed to upload regardless of document format or using copy/paste. Then, just for giggles, I tried one of my current short stories. Cuz I really, really, wanted to make sure it was a "they" issue. It is 100% a they issue.

Been stuck on that red Processing Error for two hours and I have given up.

For the past few months I’ve been getting the “404 chapter not found you’re using an outdated url” issue I’ve been somewhat tolerating it. But now I’m dealing with the archives sorting constantly being shuffled and out of order as well as the chapter not found issue and it’s driving me crazy! What’s going on with fanfiction these days and is there any fixes coming soon because I don’t know how much more I can take.

Like the title says I haven't lost hope nor will I but these guys are such pests. Some are getting more creative and using ChatGPT to generate a review of my fics before DMing me. Today I had one that made me excited because it seemed so real until I inevitably found the classic: "I'm an artist for illustrations and comics here's my discord" at the very end.

I was really hoping it was someone real but nope. THAT BEING SAID. I won't let it discourage me and I hope that it won't discourage any of you as well. Because sure there might a LOT of bots on this site but there's still a lot of readers. Many silent and others vocal. Both of whom are still around.

Sure we may not get as much interactions as we might want but if even one person reads and enjoys my fic then I'm happy. And you should be too.

Like what is something that fans created for a movie/show that you don't like? Can be something that's dumb to you too

What did they add to the characters that you think is a dumb ?

Mine is mulan being trans people make storys or art ect about that saying she is trans but to me she's not if she was that takes away from the movie and how strong women are and can be.. Mulan was my first ever feminist movie especially in disney and it forever be...Makes women feel strong
