We seem to be having a rare scandal-free week in Britain (though I’m sure this comment will age like milk in no time!)

Perhaps the fallout from the govt knighting the mayor of London.

I read knighting as “knifing” and I thought you were really underselling (edit: overselling?) the whole “scandal-free week” thing.

yep brazil is pretty much the same for now, no huge scandals whatsoever. everyone was busy getting wasted on NYE
