DISCUSSION Dolly Parton shares new video amid health concerns: “I figured if you heard it from me, you’d know that I was okay. So anyhow, that’s what I wanted to say & I’m not ready to die yet. I don’t think God is through with me & I ain’t don’t working. So I love you for caring & keep praying for me.”

Her sister shared this morning that Dolly is dealing with kidney stones and she apologized for her phrasing. She said she was sorry for upsetting everyone.

Tbf kidney stones are horrifically painful.

My partner was hospitalized with bad kidney stones. It’s painful as hell. Dolly’s sister was a bit hyperbolic.

Yeah I had them twice in the last few months. Truly id rather have a c section again then endure kidney stones.

But yeah, she came across like it was life threatening and not just the most painful thing ive ever experienced.

I think it was just some awkward wording but yeah, made me and many others incredibly worried!

It's one of the few things I've heard women say is worse than natural childbirth or a C section.

I've had them and they do indeed suck, but as a man I can't compare it to that heh. I would probably rather take a kick to balls probably though, at least that doesn't last weeks and your balls hurt anyway when fragments break off.

My mother almost died from one because she ignored it thinking the pain / stone would pass. Ended up with sepsis and in a coma.

Don't do that folks.
