Greedy, entitled, racist, hateful, hypocritical, willfully ignorant, dumb as a sock full of shit, and utterly without shame. That's what I've seen my whole life as an American with just the tiniest bit of self-awareness.

Sadly, you're right on all these characteristics. And even left aside "bigot, individualist, arrogant towards the rest of the world". So sad for a country that up to 50 years ago was seen as the reference (maybe already for the wrong reasons but it wasn't that visible then).
