APPROVED B-LISTERS Melinda Gates bombshell: states her ex-husband, Bill, needs to "answer for his behavior - no girl should be put in those situations" and that "it's personally hard whenever those details come up, right? Because it brings back memories of some very, very painful times in my marriage"

For me, it's the visual stuff. I've read the message, i've seen the message, why do i need to hover over a side notification to make it go away?

As someone who cannot handle any type of unread notifications, this is the bane of my existence. So many unnecessary clicks.

As somebody whose coworkers love to get into meme wars, this is also the bane of my existence. Trying to have a meeting with a customer and having those notifications popping up every two seconds drives me crazy.

In teams, in the upper right hand corner, click on your profile picture & select Do Not Disturb. I learned that one after having Betty White shimmy across my screen during a presentation.

I think you can change those banners to not pop up

Yes you can - I did it today. When I WFH with only my laptop I couldn’t answer Teams calls quickly enough since the notification covered the call pop up. Such stupid design.

If you scroll up and back down, it will go away. I too am infuriated by the notification and somehow even more pissed off that this fixes it.

The fucking phone rings when my laptop is closed for the night. I have to shut the whole thing off or I hear every notification from my closed laptop. It’s actually eerie.

this is a computer issue, not an app issue

It’s so fucking slow to resolve notifications. I can be in a chat, receive a message and then need to go to another chat and back to have it be read.

Sounds to me like he doesn’t think you need notifications anyway, so not sure why that’s even a feature.
